Friends of Nobel International School Algarve (FONISA) meets twice per term with Head of School Mike Farrer and is a parent-teacher channel of general feedback and communication as well as having a social and fundraising role.
Each form class has a parent representative who can volunteer each academic year.
Mr Ash Naidu and Mrs Miriam Naidu, parents to Josh, Year 3, and Anushka, Year 6, are FONISA committee chairs for this academic year for the International School.

Boarding House Activities
Last term, boarders spent weekends together: on zip wires, high ropes and paintball, at water parks, fun fairs, the movies, shopping together, planning a Halloween party and beach activities. The new “Study Plus” weekends have seen amazing input from staff and students, giving insight into progress with learning and identifying action points. In 2019 the boarding house will begin working with the popular “Artable” gallery and café for catering.

Nobel International School Algarve has been recognised as having “Healthy School Mind Status” 2016-18. This acknowledges the good practices of psychological
health and educational success of the pupils.
Nobel International School has been awarded the Green Flag status awarded by Eco Schools Portugal,
in recognition of the school´s efforts to preserve the environment. The school runs an active “Eco
Warriors” club and Scuba Diving club.
