NO COURAGE IS NEEDED FOR COLOURS – JUST PASSION.

A passion for colours has always been the impetus behind Carola Eckrodt’s extraordi-nary creative drive. The designer is now presenting a collection in which this vibrant enthusiasm for colours is expressed in many different ways. Serving as sources of inspiration are the tones used in notable works by modern artists, to which a number of haute couture collections are currently making reference.

As Jewellery Brand of the Year at the UK Watch and Jewellery Awards, we are espe-cially pleased to be able to present VividCOEUR and SoftCOEUR, two new colour themes for Spring/Summer 2015.

A range full of power and joie de vivre: VividCOEUR. Expressive colour, clear design vocabulary, harmonious effects – lovely to see on the new multicoloured GEO CUBE models or the amulets on coloured bands made of real nappa.

Besides synthetic malachite, lacquered stainless steel and polaris resin, also featured in this collection are radiant two-tone glass elements and fine Swarovski® crystals, which are metallised with effects such as Aurora Borealis and Vitrail Medium to create a finish which showcases vibrant tones in many different facets, expressing the collection’s colourful credentials.

The name also says it all in the SoftCOEUR range: soft tones like aquamarine, rosé, peri-dot green, jonquil yellow, peach, lilac and floral white give the models an airy and elegant look.

The gentle shimmer of colour so characteristic of many creations in this range has been achieved through metallisation using effects such as Aurora Borealis and Vitrail Medium. Besides the glass elements finished in this manner, the SoftCOEUR range also features exquisite materials sourced from nature such as rose quartz, amazonite, tiger’s eye and smoky quartz.

A pendant made of Swarovski® crystals metallised with the Aurora Borealis effect. The multifaceted shimmer is complemented by several strands of nappa in vibrant colours of the season. This piece of jewellery from the VividCOEUR range is part of a set with matching bracelet and earrings.

The update to the illustrious design classic in the GEO CUBE collection features the co-lours saffron yellow, orange red, fuchsia pink, royal blue, grass green and jet black in 2015 together with gold-plated stainless steel. Most outstanding of all are the cubes made of new synthetic malachite which have been incorporated into the necklace and combine all the colours in their striped design.

At the end of the 1980s the young designer Carola Eckrodt experimented with industrial parts and worked them into innovative pieces of jewellery. Today her collections can be found in more than 1,500 selected stores in 30 countries around the world.

The COEUR DE LION design is completely timeless. Carola Eckrodt combines her clear design vocabulary with a playful approach to colours and materials, thereby expressing an elementary design rule: the harmonious dispersal of contrasts creates a truly sensual experience – for both the wearer and the beholder.
