Welcome to the Kampala Fair Lookbook for Spring/Summer 2015... Kampala Fair is an ethical fashion label based in Kampala, Uganda. Our tailors create stylish designs for real women using vibrant African print fabrics – from traditional waxed cotton kitenge to colourful java designs. We provide fair pay and ethical working conditions for all our staff, allowing them to sup-port their families, send their children to school and provide for the future. We believe in the power of trade not aid, so we are members of the Ethical Fashion Forum and we are working towards Fair Trade accreditation. We hand-select all our fabrics in the local textile markets of Kampala, so while many of our prints are available throughout the season, some are strictly on a limited edition ba-sis. Angelique Bow Top Our Angelique style is so popular we also offer it as a top! Its fitted lines are perfect over jeans or a pencil skirt, and the bow-tie strap creates an elegant neckline (and makes for a comfortable fit over the bust!).
