Registration:New StudentsAll new students must complete an application for admission to the college online at www.gillettecollege.org. Once admitted, students receive a checklist to enroll in classes. Contact the Enrollment Services Office at (307) 686-0254 extension 1400 for more information.Ready to select a course?All new degree-seeking students meet with an advisor to select the appropriate classes for degree completion. Any additions or changes to this class schedule may be found on the College’s website. Call Advising at 307-686-0254 to make an appointment. Walk in hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 10 AM.Register for Classes Once admitted, registration may be completed online for students who have a MyNWCCD login or in person at the Advising Office. Register early because many classes fill quickly. All students registering for classes online or in person must sign the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement.Directory InformationUnder the terms of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the College has established the following as directory information: name, address, e-mail, telephone number, program of study, campus, dates of attendance, degrees and awards, date and place of birth, previous schools attended, participation in officially recognized sports and activities, and weight and height of members of athletic teams. Students who want to block release of this information must contact the Enrollment Services Office at (307) 686-0254 extension 1431.TranscriptsNWCCD utilizes National Student Clearinghouse for processing of all transcripts. To order your transcript to be mailed or delivered electronically, please access the National StudentClearinghouse at http://studentclearinghouse.org. Click the orange Order-Track-Verify button >select Order or Track a Transcript > Select Northern Wyoming Community College District from thedrop-down menu. The cost is $10 per delivery address for mailed transcripts (limit 3 copies) and $5 per email address for electronic transcripts. Requests must be made by the student! Please note: Transcripts will not be processed if a balance is on the account.

Tuition and Fee RefundsA portion of tuition and fees will be refunded to any student who officially withdraws from credit classes, as follows: Refund % 16 Week Classes 8 Week Classes All Other Classes 100% Within 7 days Within 4 days Within 6.25% of length of class 70% Within 14 days Within 8 days Within 12.5% of length of class 40% Within 21 days Within 11 days Within 18.75% of length of class 0% After 21 days After 11 days After 18.75% of length of classStudents who drop courses but maintain their full-time status will only be refunded student and institutional fees according to the above policy. Usage fees are not refundable after the first seven days. NO refunds will be made to students who do not officially drop or withdraw from classes, or whose misconduct has resulted in suspension or dismissal from the College. Overload Fee A tuition overload charge will be assessed for all hours in excess of 18 credit hours, in accordance with the student’s residency classification. Overload charges are refundable based on our tuition refund policy. Golden Age GrantWyoming residents who are 60 years of age or older qualify for tuition grants and reduced admission to special events. The Golden Age Grant will cover half the cost of tuition for credit courses (including audited courses). Golden Age Grants are not available for summer classes. These grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. An application form for this grant may be obtained from Enrollment Services Offices.Paying Your College BillCharges for tuition and fees are made to your student account at the time of registration. It is your responsibility to take care of your college bill in one of the following ways: • Pay your balance in full by the payment deadline of January 8, 2018. • Complete your 2017-2018 FAFSA application and any required verification to determine the total amount of your financial aid package. The FAFSA deadline is December 18, 2017, and must be completed by this deadline for federal financial aid to be considered as a payment source. • Sign up for a payment plan at MyNWCCD > WebAdvisor for Students > Student Self Service > Student Finance > Make a Payment OR https://nwccd.afford.com.If your balance is not paid in full, covered by financial aid or a payment plan by January 8th, you will be charged a $200 non-payment fee and may be dropped from your classes.
After the payment deadline of January 8, any new charges are due at registration. Students must immediately pay in full, sign up for a payment plan, or adjust an existing payment plan. Financial AidFAFSAThe 2018-2019 FAFSA is available October 1st, 2017. The 2018-2019 FAFSA will use 2016 tax information and applicants are encouraged to use the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to transfer tax information onto the FAFSA application. The sooner you file your FAFSA, the sooner you will know what you qualify for Federal financial aid. It takes 3-5 business days for the FAFSA application to be processed. Students can log onto MyNWCCD > Web Advisor for Students > Self-Service > Financial Aid Self- Service to determine if additional documentation needs to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office.
