While we are in a study of prayer, it is good to be reminded that we should pray. How can God answer prayers that are never prayed? James 4:1-3 reminds us: 1 "What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires
that battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." So we have not be-cause we do not ask or we ask with the wrong motives. Working on both of these issues would be important. I would love to be called by God that I am a man of prayer and our church is a church of prayer, always going to God and going with the right motives. There are three weeks left in the "Pray Like Jesus" series and hopefully our conversation with God has been growing and will continue to grow. We need to spend time in conversation with God every day sharing our experiences and feel-ings, and looking for His coming Kingdom more and more everyday in our lives. The last Sunday of March is Easter Sunday. What a great time to invite as many as you can to come to church since it is easily the biggest Sunday of the year. For Spring Green Community Church, Easter Sunday marks the beginning of a very important eight week series entitled, "Life Improvement", on how to build bet-ter relationships. All of us are in a variety of relationships and they could all be made better. This series will take a look at relationships from different parts of the Bible to see what God has for us in this area of life. Easter Sunday starts us off with, "Resurrecting Relationships." What did Jesus do to mend some relationships between, the time of the resurrection and the ascension?
Here’s a look ahead…

Helping Hands Ministry - NEWLY REVISED
Our church library is a good place to GROW in your personal relationship with Jesus and with other people. There are a large
variety of books on topics including living the Christian life and parenting. There are studies on the various books of the Bible
as well as on prayer, Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit. There is also a small collection of young adult books for students grade
four through high school and a small collection of children’s books and videos. The library is open whenever the room isn’t being
used. To sign out a title, put your name and the current date on the card and leave the card in the clear plastic box on the dis-
play table. You will be notified in a couple of months if your title is overdue.
To find out what is in the library, the collection may be searched online by going to the church web site. Under the “Resources”
tab there is a link to “Library”. Clicking on the blue chair on the library page opens the online Library Catalog. Once the catalog
is open, it can be searched by keyword or subject, author or title. The catalog is very easy to use. If anyone or any group would
like a demonstration, please contact Rose Ellen Schneider588-2033 or the church office 588-2442 for a demonstration.
“But, I am not a computer user”…. That’s OK. There are subject markers on the shelves that will help you find your way around
the collection.
The library continues to take donations of Christian new or gently used books and videos. Please leave donations in the milk
crate by the library display table or drop them in the Return Box under the table. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and gener-
osity.
CHILDRENS LIBRARY
There is a children’s library within our library collection. It contains Christian books and videos. Parents with young children
are invited to use this collection to introduce children to Bible stories and Christian principles. All titles in the children’s collec-
tion have been added to the Library World catalog. New videos added to the collection include Benji the dog series . All items in
this collection have been donated. Donations of new or gently used children’s books and videos continue to be accepted.

The Cookie Walk Bazaar Committee met to disperse the net profit for
the event. $135 was given to the youth LOVED retreat for scholar-
ships and expenses. $1000.00 was given to reduce the principal on the
building debt and $ 990.97 was given to the benevolence fund to help
those who may be in need. We also decided that boxes would be pro-
vided for cookie walkers next year rather than dealing with the bring
your own container.
