Staff Bios SUZIE DUNN (Dean of Dramatic Academy/Instructor Pre-Teen I/Teen) Teaching career began at THEATRE THREE at age eighteen, teaching classes ages 6 through 17. BFA in Theatre; MA in Elementary Education. Seven years a teacher of dance and drama Oakland Garden Elementary School, New York City; Arts Liaison between schools and The New York City Blueprint for The Arts, working with teaching artists from across the world. Assisted in writing the Arts Standards for New York State. Proud co-founder of The Cue Theatre, an educational lab theatre that works with hundreds of students throughout the Capital region. She is the author of a curriculum for Arts- in-Education “Cue the Classroom”, launched in 2014. She appeared on Central Park’s Delacorte stage in The Public Theatre’s TWELFTH NIGHT (summer 2016 and 2018); AS YOU LIKE IT (summer 2017) and HERCULES (summer 2019). She can also be seen on THEATRE THREE’S stage in A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
HEATHER ROSE KUHN (Teaching Assistant, Creative Dramatics). THEATRE THREE credits include JEKYLL AND HYDE (Ensemble), THE WIZARD OF OZ (Ensemble); A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Belinda, Fan); THE ADDAMS FAMILY (The Puritan); ALICE’S MOST DECIDEDLY UNUSUAL ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND (White Rabbit). Provides program caricature design and artwork as Resident Artist for THEATRE THREE’S Children's Theatre Productions. Favorite credits include SPAMALOT (Patsy); and WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND UNAFRAID (Penny). Student director for the past four years for Rocky Point Middle School.
ALYSSA MONTES (Instructor, Creative Dramatics/Pre-Teen II) Student at St. Joseph’s College majoring in Child Study (primary/special education) with a concentration in Music. Performer at Spoonful of Sugar Entertainment, and private vocal coach. Assistant director/choreographer/stage manager/vocal coach at Shoreham-Wading River’s Summer Music Institute since 2011. Past theatre credits include: WEST SIDE STORY (Maria); PLAY ON! (Smitty); ANYTHING GOES (Chastity); ALMOST, MAINE (Glory); RUMORS (Claire); OUR TOWN (Rebecca); SPAMALOT (Minstrel); SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER (Catherine); 7 WAYS TO SAY I LOVE YOU (Director).
JEFFREY SANZEL (Executive Artistic Director) BFA in Acting & Directing from Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. With THEATRE THREE since 1989. Appointed Artistic Director July 1993. Director of over two hundred productions including the 2015 Musical Theatre Factory II’s production of GODSPELL, JR.
AMBER WALKOWIAK (Teaching Assistant) has been acting in school and community theatre for 9 years. You may have seen Amber in A CHRISTAMS CAROL since 2017. Favorite credits include CHRISTAMS CAROL (Charwoman/Margaret, Child on Christmas Morning), WAIT UNTIL DARK (Gloria), and ANYTHING GOES (Elisha Whitney). Film credits include Di Family and Metal West.
