Growers of Fruit Trees for Five Generations
Spring 2020
BAREROOTCATALOG
Boyer Nurseries’ is a five generation family business that has been associated with the fruit industry since 1900, when our founder, W.W. Boyer began to propagate and sell bareroot fruit trees to local customers. Nestled in the heart of orchard country against the backdrop of scenic South Mountain - we maintain 500 acres of fruit orchards, a nursery, garden center, farm market, u-pick operation, and a more recent expansion into landscape design and installation. Our family keeps an eye on ecology by utilizing approved conservation practices; not only in preserving the soil and environment, but in limiting sprawl. We’re located only 8 miles from historic Gettysburg, PA and welcome your visit!

What Boyer's Has To Offer...
wHat is Bareroot? Bareroot trees and shrubs are ones which have been harvested when dormant and sold without soil around the roots. There are many advantages to buying bareroot products, some of which are: price, diversity of material, ease of transporting and planting.
The same guarantee applies as with container or balled plants. Another major benefit of buying bareroot is that we can ship bareroot trees anywhere in the USA. Please keep in mind the bareroot stock has a limited season from March through May.
