Spring 2016 Continuing Student Registration Information
Registration begins at 9AM on Sunday, November 1st . To prepare, please:
1. Check the Degree Advice function on the Student Link or use an audit sheet to check that you are on track to graduate within your desired timeline. If you need help, please contact Brendan Hoey ([email protected] or Chris Paal, [email protected], in the Professional and Academic Services Office, Talbot 2 Center.
2. If you plan to add a dual concentration or change concentrations, please complete the concentration change process by the second week in October.
3. Use the “PLANNER” function on the Student Link to prepare for registration. Directions to the Planner: Academics > Registration > Reg Options > Plan > Add additional classes to your Planner. If you do not see an option to access the Planner, this indicates a possible compliance issue with your student status. Check your compliance status under the Personal Tab on the Student Link. If you are not in compliance you may not be able to register online on 11/1. If you have questions, please contact Alan Hatton in the SPH Registrar’s Office.
Please note that the schedule information is subject to change. Be sure to check your planner before 11/1 to make sure your desired courses have not been changed.

Core Course Scheduling Policy, MPH Degree and Dual Degree Students Admitted to the MPH program in 2015-2016
• Full‐time MPH students must complete their core course requirements within their first two semesters.
• Part‐time MPH students must complete biostatistics or epidemiology along with the core course
in their concentration first, and complete the remaining MPH core courses within three semesters and prior to completing classes outside of their concentration.
• Students entering the MPH program in 2016‐2017 will be required to complete a revised core curriculum. This core curriculum is being piloted in spring 2016. New, full‐time MPH students admitted in spring 2016 have the option to participate in the pilot. All other students will complete the current MPH core requirements. The current MPH cores will continue to be offered so that MPH students admitted to the MPH program prior to 2016‐2017 can fulfill degree requirements.
