Spring 2016
Welcome to Spring! We are featuring Little House on the Prairie Quilts this Spring. We are doing a Bear's Paw, 9-patch, Flying Geese, and Churn Dash. One quilt a month.
Sue Freich is teaching a very cool purse that you will want to check out--and make several for friends & gifts.
National Quilt Day is in March. Sue is teaching her Wheel of Mystery Quilt that day and we will be running specials on fabrics.
Shop Hop is coming up--in April. The theme for this year's event is "aprons." We will have a contest for the best apron, with great prizes for the winners. More details will follow.
Happy quilting!
P.S. If you see a mistake in the newsletter, please let me know. I try to proof read everything, but after awhile, my eyes just glaze over.

Machine Applied Binding Sun. April 17 $20 Barb Boyer
This style of binding uses cording to help keep the binding straight & true. Bring a small quilt, your binding and your sewing machine-check the supply list to make sure you have the right tools (cording, the correct foot, binding cut at the correct width). Putting binding on by machine cuts your time more than in half-and by using cording, you can have a perfectly applied binding with no messy "oops" where your stitching just didn't quite catch the binding on the back side.
