2 GENERAL SAFETY MEASURES AND WARNINGS This instruction and maintenance manual comprises all required work, which need to be performed on the machine as a result of practical testing of the manufacturer.

This sign is a safety warning sign. Be careful and follow the instructions and recommendations, since it is a matter of your own safety.

Before you start using the appliance (machine) read carefully the “Instructions for use”. It is also important for other people who use this machine to read and understand “Instructions for use”!

Always make sure that all of the safety devices are on their place and that all of the rotating surfaces are well covered, including the “junctions” of the cardan shaft on both ends! Do not use cardan shafts without having secured them!

Use only original cardan shafts. When mounting the cardan shaft make sure that the safety pin is in right position and well stuck in its hole. Pull and push the cardan shaft forwards and backwards as long as the safety pin is not in its hole!

Do not allow unauthorized people to move around the machine while working. This especially applies to children. (minimum 30 m ).

By filling the spreader container, drive shaft should not operate.

Check the turning direction of the cardan shaft.

During the use of the spreader put on the protection clothes, gloves and protection masks, in case that this is necessary.

Use appropriate clothing while working. Your clothes must not be wide, since they can get caught in rotating parts of the appliance.

You must not perform any repairs or maintenance work on the machine while this is still running!

After maintenance, mount all safety equipment immediately on the machine!

Do not eat, drink or smoke while spreading or working with chemical agents and contaminated equipment.

After spreading, wash your face and hands thoroughly and change your clothes immediately!

Tools, which have been used for spreading should be washed and cleaned also!

In the case of poisoning, immediately seek for medical help. Let the physician see the label of the chemical agent, so he or she will easier be able to determine the kind of poisoning!

It is strictly forbidden to release chemicals into the environment!

It is forbidden to drive other peoples on the device!

In case of problems or if needed any additional explanations, please contact your authorized dealer or technician.

4 THE PURPOSE OF THE SPREADER Spreaders AG 250, AG 400 oz. AG 500 are designed for spreading granular and dusting artificial minor or mixture of them. The constructional design of the spreader allows easy handling and constant spreading. The strong construction, high-quality component parts and loads of additional equipment ensures the user an efficient operation and an optimal consumption of minor. The funnel is produced from quality polyethylene of high density. All parts of spreader that come into contact with artificial minor are made from stainless steel.

5 IDENTIFICATION NUMBER The identification number is attached to the frame. It includes model, capacity, mass, serial number, year of production and state of manufacturing.

When ordering spare parts, all of the information written on the identification plate must be given to the seller.

6 SPREADER SETTING ON TRACTOR 6.1 FITTED ON TRACTOR WITH THREE POINT HITCH

Spreader should be fitted on tractor with three point hitch, and then should be connected to the tractor PTO with cardan shaft. Be careful that cardan shaft is not to long. It is designed for connecting to the tractor’s three-point connection system class I (pintle diameter 22 mm) and for connecting to the tractor’s three-point connection system class II (pintle diameter 28 mm). Mount the sprinkler in the tractor’s three-point connection system and secure it with the pins. After that, lift the spreader to a height where both the connection of the tractor and the spreader are on the same height and connect them with the cardan shaft.

6.2 MOUNTING OF THE DRIVE SHAFT – CARDAN SHAFT

To avoid possible accidents and personal injuries please follow the instructions and recommendations written below: - Before mounting (connecting of the cardan shaft to the tractor and the spreader) the drive shaft –

cardan shaft, always turn off the engine and remove the start key from its lock. When mounting the cardan shaft, the cardan shaft of the tractor can be easily turned if the engine and the cardan shaft are turned off.

Page 7: SPREADER AG 250 – AG 500depending on driving speed, numbers of cardan shaft turns and manure granulation. Fitting-up handle for the consumption. Holes for the regulation of the consumption

7

- When mounting the cardan shaft make sure that the safety pin is in right position and well stuck in its hole. Pull and push the cardan shaft forwards and backwards as long as the safety pin is not in its hole!

WARNING: Rotating shafts can be very dangerous! - Always make sure that all of the safety devices are on their place and that all of the rotating

surfaces are well covered, including the “junctions” of the cardan shaft on both ends! Do not use cardan shafts without having secured them!

- Do not touch rotating cardan shafts! The safety distance to a rotating cardan should not be less than 1.5 m.

- Protect the protection devices against turning by means of the chain! - Make sure that the protection of the cardan on the tractor is well connected (attached)! - Always turn off the engine and remove the start key from its lock before starting maintaining

the machine or connecting the cardan shaft! The first mounting of the cardan shaft should be performed as follows: 1. Mount the sprinkler to the tractor and lift the tractor’s lift arms to such a height, where the

distance between the tractor’s connection shaft and the sprinkler’s connection shaft is the shortest (both connection shafts are on the same height). Be careful not to hit the sprinkler against the tractor or the ground.

2. Stop the tractor’s engine and remove the start key from its lock.

3. In the case the cardan shaft is to long and needs to be shortened, pull out the cardan shaft and

mount each end of it separately to the shaft of the tractor and to the shaft of the sprinkler, measure it out and mark the place where it needs to be cut.

WARNING: the covering of both cardan shafts must be at least 150 mm (picture 8.1)!

4. Use an appropriate tool to shorten both parts in the same way and do not forget to remove the

swarf. 5. Attach the profiles and join the parts.

6. Mount the cardan shaft to the tractor and the sprinkler.

Page 8: SPREADER AG 250 – AG 500depending on driving speed, numbers of cardan shaft turns and manure granulation. Fitting-up handle for the consumption. Holes for the regulation of the consumption

8

WARNING: Always mount the female end of the cardan shaft to the tractor! Connect the chains in order to avoid rotating of the safety covers!

7. To assure a long reliability of the cardan shaft avoid angles bigger than 15°. 8. When using safety cardan shafts, the so called “ALLAN’S” bolt must be screwed in with a

torque of 40 Nm. Check the torque after 2 minutes of operation.

7 DESCRIPTION WITH INSTRUCTION FOR USE Through two hols at the bottom of the funnel the manure is pouring on rotate disc with shovel, which equable sprayed the manure in fan-shaped jet with defined eject width. With handle which has three positions (black arrow on the picture), you can levelling the openness those two hols, so that you could choose between spreading on both side or just left or right.

Moving handle direction for define the spreading. (white arrow)

The second handle is for consumption levelling. Shovels on the disc are also adjustable in five different positions so that you could adjust the spread width of the agent. The width of wasting is depending on driving speed, numbers of cardan shaft turns and manure granulation.

. By filling the spreader container, drive shaft should not operate.

10

With filled spreader drive on working area, adjust the handle of the consumption, lift the spreader 70 – 90 cm above the floor (cardan shaft should be in horizontal position), only then you could switch on the drive shaft. Jet of argent must a bit cover the former one.

8 MAINTENANCE The maintenance of spreader is very simple. According to high quality of material used for spreader it needs very low level of maintenance. After every use we should clean it with fresh water. After use check the tightness of screws. After season check all the parts and repair the parts which are not from anticorrosion material.

9 MAINTENANCE OF GEAR BOX The grease in gear box should be changed after first 50 – 60 hours of working, later after 600 – 800 hours. Type of grease is according to NLGI 00.EP classification.
