RITE has joined with the Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (NOCHE) and the planners of the long-running national Information Security Summit (October 21-25 at the IX Conference Center) to deliver an energizing, informative and action-oriented day. On Tuesday, October 22nd, regional employers,
educators, high school, college and university students, and economic development organizations will come together for valuable engagement and networking opportunities and focused sessions designed to address the
high demand jobs in information technology and cybersecurity.
THE EVENT FEATURES:• NOCHE’s second annual Innovations and Alignment in Cybersecurity Education interactive session between employers and faculty• RITE’s 8th Annual Passport to IT Careers• Programming and resources for teachers and faculty• The formal launch of RITE’s Regional IT Educators Consortium • Tracks for college and university students to engage with employers through Greater Cleveland Partnership and NOCHE’s Linking Talent to Opportunity event and sessions including: How to Get Future Ready; Rev Up Your Tech IQ; and Speed-Networking with IT Pros.
