    EDITORIAL

    by Roger Planck

    Do

    you

know what the No. 1 reason is for such a

    school

    as

    Harbor Springs High

    School? Yes, it is

    you.

    And

    do you

    know what makes

    Harbor

    Springs High

    School different from

    every

    other

    High

    School in the

    United States of America?

    Yes,

    it

    is

    also you, you the

    Student

    body.

    Perhaps

    I

    should say

    we, myself

    being

    included. These

    questions sound very

    foolish "That's

    for Sure" but the

    fact

    remains, it

    Is

    because of the Stu

    dents that

    there

    -is a school

    and,

    it is because of

    the

    stu

dents that the conditions in the school

    are

    las

    they

    are.

    The point

    m'ight

be more simply stated by saying

    "We

    have

made and are making our beds, and we

    are

    also

    lying

    in them." Who can

    deny

    this?

    No one

    using

    any

    common sense could or

    would--Correct?

    Well, here's a whole

    column

    wasted

    saying

    some

    thing we

    all

    supposedly already know, but sometimes

    aren't we

    a little forgetful?
