20 February 2015 Respected Sir, National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NITR), Odisha is organizing Appathon- The App Development Marathon, in March, this year. Microsoft Campus Club of NIT Rourkela has the responsibility of executing the event and ensure its success. On behalf of our club, we would like to express our interest in forging an alliance with your esteemed organization. Appathon focuses of Windows Store App Development. It is organised in two phases; a two day workshop taken by professionals, followed by a 12 hour competition for the students who attended the workshop. Appathon is a state-wide event with its 2nd season on the way, as we had conducted first version of this contest last year. As we had received good participation from students of our institute, we have decided to invite students from major colleges across Odisha and make it a truly state-wide event this year. Our club group is devoted to conduct events related to computer science and creating awareness about the latest technologies in the campus and Appathon is one of them. Considering the expenditure and logistics involved in the event, this event needs support from successful organizations like yours.
