•We have conducted 10K & 5K run for staff and students of our college as part of
the ‘Fit India Movement’ activity at our college premise on 31st Oct. 2019 which
was also the day of ‘Run for Unity’.

Yogasana classes for staff and studentsWe have conducted Yogasana and Pranayama Classes for staff and students of our college as part of the Fit India Movement activity at our college premise in the Month of December 2019 and also we had 108 Suryanamaskara program on the day of Rathasapthami. The event was initiated by Sri Ramaswamy Naik S. yoga teacher/ Garden Superviser BMSIT&M.

• Events Organized in the campus:
1) Staff Sports Events conducted in the month of January
2) Conducted VTU Bengaluru North Zone (M), Bengaluru Zone (W) and Inter Zone (M&W) Inter
collegiate Volleyball tournament from 30th March to 1st April 2017.
3) Conducted VTU Bengaluru Zone (W) and Inter Zone (W) Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament
from 25th to 27th April 2017.
4) Conducted VTU Bengaluru North Zone (M), Central Karnataka Zone (M) and Inter Zone (M) Inter
Collegiate Hockey Tournament from 26th to 28th May 2017.
5) Conducted VTU Volleyball (W) team Selection trials on 10th October 2017
6) Conducted VTU Volleyball (W) team Coaching camp from 15th to 18th October 2017 to participate
in South Zone Inter University Tournament was held at kannur University Kerala from 20th to 25th and
the said team played up to 3rd round in the Competition.
7) Conducted VTU Basketball (M) team Coaching camp from 24th to 28th October 2017 to participate
in South Zone Inter University Tournament was held at Christ University Bengaluru, Karnataka from
29th Oct. to 3rd Nov. 2017 and the said team played up to 4th round in the Competition.
VTU Assignments of DPE:1) DPE has nominated as Selection committee member to select the VTU Basketball (M) team the
selection trials - 2017-18 was held at RYMCE Bellary from 3rd to 5th Oct 2017.
2) Nominated as manager of VTU Basketball (M) team to Participate in South Zone Inter University
Tournament -2017-18. Held at Christ University, Bengaluru, (Karnataka).
3) DPE was the convener to organize the above VTU events, organize in BMSIT&M campus.
