part in the competition. The Regional Institute of Science & Technology won the competition

andBasugaon College from Assam were the runners up.

Glimpses of the ongoing Kabaddi Match on International Women’s Day

The Sports Forum USTM had celebrated International Women’s Day, with a day long program on

March, 2018. The Kabbadi (Women) competition was organized to mark the occasion among UG

and PG students of all departments. A total number of nine teams had taken part in the competition. The

Department of English won the competition andChemistry Department secured the runners up position.

The Sports Forum USTM had celebrated National Sports Day with a day long program on 29th

August, 2016.

The Football (Men) competition was organized on the occasion of National Sports Day among UG and PG

students of all departments of the university.Eight teams from different department of USTM had taken part in

the competition. The Department ofSociology won the match and Business Administrationgrabbed the position

of runners up.

The Sports Forum of the University have celebrated the Netaji Day, with a day long program on 23rd

January,

2016. Kabbadi (Men) Competition was organized on the occasion to mark the day among UG and PG students of

all the departments of the university. Seven teams had taken part in the competition. The Department of Rural

Development won the competition and the department Zoology fetched the position of runners up.

On the occasion of Pre-Christmas Celebration, the Sports Forum has organizedthe Badminton Competition on

December, 2014. The Competition was organized among the UG and PG students of all the departments

of the university. 20 students from different departments have taken part in the competition. The department of

Biotechnology were theowners of the competition and the department of Chemistry was a runner up.
