Cold Engine: Choke On Hot Engine: Choke Off

Master Switch: On

Instrument Switch: On

Fuel Pump: On Ignition Switch: Clear, Start

Oil Pressure: Check Green

Fuel Pump: Off RPM: 2,500 max – 1,500 min

Avionics Switch: On

Strobes: On

Taxi

Traffic: On Radio Call

Altimeter: Set

Control Stick: Wind Correction

Brakes: Test RPM : as needed

Engine Run-Up

Fuel Pump: ON/SWITCH TANKS Fuel Pump: OFF

Oil Temp: 120F minimum for Run up

Brakes: Secure On

Throttle RPM: 4,000 Ignition Left – Right: 300rpm Max drop

Carb Heat: On – Off (slight drop in rpm)

Throttle: Full Idle

Throttle: 1800 RPM minimum (green arc)
