ResearchDiscovery We set out to understand the current market for food sites and content heavy sites before conducting user testing. It was important to understand how competitors showcased their content and how their users navigated their sites.

Findings • Content organized visually • Sites utilized extensive scrolling • Competitive sites were easy to navigate • Trending: white backgrounds • Many sites used “best lists” to organize content • Current/trending content was important • Simple one word navigation for quick and

easy understanding • Sub navigation was common

Solutions • Easy to understand navigation headers • Strong visual hierarchy for content • Important to incorporate videos • Sub navigation for clarity
