CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Fat Quarter StackCut 1 square 4½” x 4½” and 1 rectangle 2½” x 21” from each of the following fat quarters:

Cut 4 rectangles 2” x 3½” from purple web for A1.

Gray MainCut 7 strips 6½” x WOF for Border 1.

Orange StarsCut 1 strip 12½” x WOF. Cut the strip into 4 rectangles 9” x 12½”.

Snow White ShadeCut 8 strips 4½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 64 squares 4½” x 4½”.Cut 8 strips 2½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 16 rectangles

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

Chain BlockSew a snow white shade 2½” x 21” rectangle and an assorted print 2½” x 21” rectangle together. Press. Repeat with remaining snow white shade and assorted print 2½” x 21” rectangles. Cut the strips into 2½” segments. Sew the segments together to create 64 Four-Patch Units.

Referring to quilt photo for placement of fabrics, sew together 4 Four-Patch Units, 1 assorted print 4½” square, and 4 snow white shade 4½” squares to create the Chain Block. Repeat to create 16 Chain Blocks.

Pumpkin BlockUse a foundation piecing template and purple web piece A1 and snow white shade piece A2 to create the stem. Sew a snow white shade 4” x 6” rectangle to each side of the stem to create the Stem Unit. Repeat to create 4 Stem Units.

Pumpkin Block (continued)Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong side of 4 snow white shade 2½” squares. Place a snow white shade 2½” square on each corner of an orange stars 9” x 12½” rectangle and sew on the lines. Leave a ¼” seam allowance and trim excess to create the Pumpkin Unit. Press. Repeat to create 4 Pumpkin Units.

Sew a Stem Unit and a Pumpkin Unit together to create the Pumpkin Block. Repeat to create 4 Pumpkin Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblySee quilt photo for Chain Block and Pumpkin Block placement. Lay out the blocks in 5 rows of 4 blocks. Sew the rows together to complete the quilt center.

BorderSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 60½”. Top and bottom borders should be 60½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Halloween Magic Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
