A once in a lifetime opportunity...

We are beyond excited to bring Falcao into the area. Sole Futsal Academy has been a leader in the futsal coaching circuit since its inception in 2015. Over the course of the last 3-4 years Sole Futsal has positioned itself as a leader in futsal knowledge and running great events. Rob Brown, co-founder of Sole Futsal Academy has been coaching futsal since 2005. In the summer of 2006, Rob took his FC Bucks team to the US Futsal National Championships in Anaheim, California. The team finished 3rd place in the nation! Not bad for a team that was new to futsal. Rob coached that team to many state and regional championshsips while also running a local futsal league out of Newtown. Rob is now the General Manager of the Sole Futsal Center where he runs leagues, camps, clinics, workshops and more.

Sole Futsal was asked to speak at the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention that took place at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Rob led a classroom sessions about putting together a plan for a futsal sessions. Sole Futsal Academy also ran a session on the court with Sasha Filippi called “Inside the Arc.”

Sole Futsal has been a leader since it started and the ability to bring in such players as Falcao just shows how far their reach goes in the futsal world. When Sole Futsal Center first opened, technically before it opened, it ran a coaches workshop with one of the top five futsal coaches in the world! This coach also came back and helped us while we competed in the 2019 US Futsal Regional Championships in Atlantic City, NJ. This coach is Masimiliano Bellarte from Italy. He has become a great friend to our program and we look forward to seeing him again.

Once in a lifetime is a phrase that means an event or opportunity that is not likely to be repeated. The phrase once in a lifetime was first recorded in 1854, and can mean an event or opportunity that literally will not be repeated within one’s lifetime, or more usually, is an exaggeration that refers to an event or opportunity that happens very infrequently.

Futsal Clinic w/ Meet & Greet.A chance for local players to meet and learn from the best futsal player in the world. Clinics will range in time from 60 to 90 minutes. Every kid will have a chance to interact with this futsal superstar. There has never been a futsal event like this in the past. The clinic will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. During that time we will break up the sessions by age group. All registrations will be take online and we look forward to seeing you there!

About The EventAs a leader in futsal for the whole country, Sole Futsal decided who better than Falcao to teach kids in the area? Falcao is known as the best player to ever play the game!

FUTSAL GAME

Sole Futsal Center will be hosting a men’s tournament in May. The winning team will be get the chance to play against Falcao’s team. The other team will be made up of Sole Futsal Academy players as well some sponsors and their friends.

The game will be two twenty minute halves with clock stopping at every stoppage. There will be two time outs per half for each game.

Sole Futsal Center has been open for almost 2 and a half years now! We look forward to growing and having some great events here throughout the years. We only partner with great companies that want to work together. Sole Futsal Center has 2 futsal courts as well as a turf area that is used for small group/individual training. There is also a Full Swing Golf Simulator with an on-site golf pro.

Sole also hosts parties, team-bonding and corporate events plus they have a catering options from a few different places.

FalcãoFor years, Alessandro Rosa Vieira has been regarded as the world’s best futsal player. The man with the brilliant left foot, nick-named “Falcao”, is aiming to win the only trophy still missing from his collection, the FIFA Futsal World Cup, in his homeland Brazil.The FIFA Centennial World Player Gala chat took place in the Zurich Opera House on 20 December 2004 saw Ronaldinho crowned FIFA World Player of the Year and awards presented to superstars like Thierry Henry and Andriy Shevchenko. Yet only one player drew spontaneous applause from the thrilled audience. There were gasps of wonder and the words “unbelievable”, “fantastic” and “phenomenal” could be heard as video highlights of the world’s leading fursal player flashed up on the screen.The praise and applause were for Alessandro Rosa Vieira, known in the world of futsal simply as “Falcao”. Four years ago, he was recognised as the best futsal player on the planet and, now 31, remains SO to this day.

DANCING WITH THE BALL

Born in the Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paulo, Falcao used to play in the street in front of his parents’ house when he was young. He liked nothing better than nut-megging his bewildered opponents, dribbling, shooting and showing off with scissor-kicks and overhead kicks, even on the asphalt surface. “Futsal is my life,’1 realised Falcao at an early age. “Football was too boring for me. It took far too long to get a touch of the ball.”Falcao feels comfortable on the small pitch – it is where he belongs, a place where he is king and can dance with

the ball. “I can’t dance without a ball – ask my wife! But I can dance with the ball, it happens automatically,” he says, laughing. He has futsal in his blood. “I’ve been blessed with a lot of talent,” he admits.However, he would never have acceded to the throne had it not been for rigorous training-he plays futsal every day. He has been a professional player for half his life, and indeed is the highest-paid player in the world. “I’ve found fame and fortune,” says Falcao. According to reports, he is paid a monthly salary of some 25,000 US dollars by his club Mal-wee/Jaragua. Another source of income is “Falcao Sports”, the company that he founded. It comprises futsal schools, its own brand of clothing and the website www.falcaol2. com. Falcao also stars in a number of adverts, including one alongside his close friend Tlobinho.When Falcao pulls on the Malwee/ Jaragua shirt with the number 12 on its back, every last seat is usually taken in the hall in Jaragua do Sol, the town with a population of 130,000 in the state of Santa Catatina.
