As Co-Chairs of ISA World Cup’s Sponsorship Committee, we would like to extend a personal invitation to join us in making our 5th Annual World Cup event a success! Our Sponsorship Proposal is designed to introduce to you our or-ganization and our vision, as well as outline the multitude of possible benefits that can result from building a partner-ship with us. Your support would mean the world to us. Thank you for your time, and we hope to hear from you soon!

What is ISA World Cup?

Each year ISA World Cup selects a theme to share with the Northwestern campus. In the past, we celebrated South Africa as FIFA’s selected host country and Spain as the winner of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This year we wish to celebrate not only the selected host country for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but the host country of Northwestern’s sister school in the Mid-dle East. With that being said, we are proud to announce the 5th Annual ISA World Cup theme as Qatar. We hope that this diverse celebration of soccer and Middle Eastern culture will bring our two campuses together through the shared love of the beautiful game.

WHY QATAR?

ISA World Cup is Northwestern University’s largest student-run athletic event, bringing together over 500 students of myriad backgrounds through the shared love of soccer. ISA World Cup seeks to promote and celebrate the rich cultures and diversity represented on campus in the effort to let the passion of the game unite us all.

This year, ISA World Cup is proud to announce a partnership with Yuwa, a charitable organization based in Jharkhand, In-dia. Yuwa, uses the platform of soccer to help underprivileged youth, specifically girls between the ages of 5 and 17, to gain the confidence and education to make a change in the world. As part of our goal of expanding ISA WC, we wished to partner with an organization that stood out in their effort to advance soccer interests around the world and we believe that Yuwa’s mission and goals fit the bill perfectly.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENS?In April 2013, this year’s 5th annual ISA World Cup will carry on its vision of uniting Northwestern’s campus in a two-day soccer tournament. The structure of the tourna-ment is modeled after the FIFA World Cup, with 32 teams starting in groups stages, with 8 groups of 4 teams each, and moving on to Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semi-finals and the Final.

As always, there will be a grand opening and closing ceremony, in which we invite student groups to come perform as well as distinguished members of the Northwestern community such as NU President Schap-iro and Dean of Students Burgwell Howard to speak.

This year we also have an exciting new addition to our event – a large activities tent that will house booths hosted by various student groups across campus as well as booths hosted by sponsors.

The event will be located at the beautiful Northwestern University Lakeside Fields, right next to Lake Michigan with the Chicago skyline in sight.

WHY BECOME A SPONSOR?ISA World Cup is deeply grateful for the generous contributions of its sponsors each year and seeks to maximize the return on investment. Partnering with ISA World Cup provides our sponsors with the ideal opportunity to showcase their business to our Northwestern student demographic. It also allows sponsors the opportunity to potentially drive sales by showcasing their product attributes at our booths or as prizes for our events throughout the year. Sup-porting ISA World Cup also aligns our sponsors with a good cause; this year, a portion of your contributions will go directly to YUWA which will allow them to purchase tablets for the education of young women in India.

The sponsorship packages we have created are designed to give your organization an instant presence among our students, faculty, communities, and our audience, and to solidify your status as our ally for ISA World Cup at North-western University.
