Wisdom EventoSports is a venture between enthusiasts coming together

to promote sports with unique ideas.

We are adventure sports promoters, instrumental in organizing one of its

kind competitive Cycling event in Leh, Ladakh. The only accredited

cycling event at the height of 3500 meters.

We seek to radiate consciousness for accepting Cycling as an eco friendly

means of transportation.

NORTH QUEST CHALLENGE 2018

North Quest Challenge, established in 2016, is dedicated to promoting bicycling, with the emphasis on

competitive cycle, at an altitude of 3500 Meters above sea level. NQC is one of the most diverse racing

event in the region, representing elite professional and amateur cyclists from across all classes and

categories. NQC is also actively involved in rider development, event promotion, and charitable

events.

NQC has been supported by the Cycle Federation of India (CFI), the governing body of cycling as a

sport in India. CFI annually promotes and manages numerous competitive and promotional events,

including the hugely popular Saksham Cyclothon organized by Petroleum Conservation Research

Association (PCRA), a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas,

Government of India. NQC maintains an open membership policy and serves as an opportunity for

elite and amateur cyclists seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush of competitive cycling at the world

renowned Ladakh landscape at the extreme altitude under the professional management of CFI and

the organisers.

With support of CFI, including participation of over 30 National Level elite riders, NQC has a huge

marketable potential of becoming the best and most sought-after MTB races in India. NQC is

dedicated to the development of competitive cyclists in an atmosphere of fun, safety, and

camaraderie. In addition to its rider development and racing activities, NQC has experience in race

promotion and organization, and its members serve as important resources for aspiring riders and

visitors seeking information on cycling in India.

Stany Wangchuk

A passionate Hotelier and owner of the biggest Tourism Management

Company in Ladakh, running Luxury as well as Budget Hotels in Leh along

with organizing adventure Sports and camping sites in Ladakh.

He is pivotal in driving many social causes for upliftment of the people in

Ladakh.

He is an ardent believer in wellness associated with sports along with

promoting sports for the benefit of the society as a whole.

Harkirat Singh

A lawyer by profession, working as a Principal Associate with one of the top

law firms in the Country.

An avid traveller and adventure seeker, he has always been fascinated with

sports and has competed at university level and club level championships in

golf as well as in cricket. Captains his firm’s cricket team in various inter

corporate tournaments.

With a passion for physical conditioning and wellness, it is a dream to

promote sports with distinctive concepts.

Praveen Sharma

An avid trekker, photographer & nature lover who shares the same passion

for challenge, endurance & environment & seeks every opportunity to

escape to the hills

He is a DU/IIFT graduate entrepreneur, promoting Italian, Spanish

Ceramiche in Indian Sub continent to earn his living.

Cycling is one of few sports that fully embraces corporate sponsorship. Team apparel and jerseys

display sponsor logos throughout the year at races, training and charity/fun rides, club weekend rides,

and other cycling-related events.

As a lifelong activity, cycling appeals to children, families and adults, reaching a broad audience that

goes beyond traditional demographics. Cycling is one of the most popular and fastest growing sports

Although the race has some special event sponsors, all NQC sponsors are given an opportunity to be

listed as sponsors in CFI events like the National Championships for Track, Road and MTB as well as

certain international cycling championships held in the country. NQC sponsors can also be included in

promotional materials, banners, and the event website for such championships. Regular promotions

for such Championships are carried out through the largest circulated cycling magazine in India

dedicated to the sport “CRANK by Procycle”. The title sponsors are also featured on the official website

of CFI.

In addition to NQC, CFI promotes other renowned competitive MTB events such as the popular 9 day

MTB Uttrakhand covering 800 KMs, the MTB Kerela etc.

the event in collaboration with the “Cycling

Federation of India” (CFI) for the children of

the region. Selected children will be trained at

the UCI WCC satellite centre in New

Delhi and the entire expense of schooling,

boarding, travel,equipment, training and diet

is sponsored by CFI.

• Indian junior and senior cyclists undertaking

training at the UCI WCC satellite centre in New

Delhi have reached top rankings in the

world in track competitions and have won

many medals at international events.
