15 Intercollegiate athletic programs including Baseball, Men’s & Women’s
Basketball, Men’s & Women’s Cross Country, Field Hockey, Women’s
Lacrosse, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Softball, Men’s & Women’s
Swimming, Women’s Tennis, Men’s & Women’s Volleyball
Affiliated with NCAA Division III. Member of State University of New York

Wellness & Recreation
National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) member.
Over 2700 students participating in approximately 25 Intramural offerings and
over 30 club sports teams. 70 group fitness class offerings each year. 25 out-
door pursuits trips each year.
Facilities
6,800 square feet of fitness space between two fitness curves located in the
Athletic & Wellness with personal training and health assessments available.
1/9 of a mile walking/jogging/running elevated indoor track located in the
Athletic & Wellness Center.
Elting Pool is a 6 lane, 25 yard pool that serves as home to the New Paltz
swimming teams, club swim teams, New Paltz High School swimming teams,
and recreational swimmers.
Why New paltz? Our unique program will give your business the ability to reach a
diversity group of potential consumers. The facilities are used by a
large number of groups including New Paltz athletic contests, New
Paltz Wellness & Recreation programming, Section IX tourna-
ments, MHAL tournaments, local youth sports (YBA, CYO,
Hawks Swimming, Dolphins Swimming, ODP Soccer, Futures
Field Hockey), New Paltz athletics sports camps, and several adult
groups (Masters swimming, Shawangunk Runners, and New Paltz
Parks & Recreation softball).
New Paltz Athletics alone hosts over 125 home athletic events year
between our competition venues. For these home contests over
2000 game-day programs are printed for spectators.
Also nphawks.com is quickly becoming the must see website for
fans of New Paltz athletics and the participants in the Wellness &
Recreation programs. During last fall while teams were in season
nphawks.com averaged nearly 28,500 impressions. This number is
up by nearly 8000 impressions each month on average. The aver-
age visitor will spend over 3 minutes on nphawks.com per visit.

New Paltz Athletics Golf Tournament
Each year the Department of Athletics,
Wellness & Recreation hosts a Golf
Tournament. The tournament is geared
towards alumni, parents of current student
athletes, the campus community, and the New
Paltz community at large.
This event is our cornerstone sponsorship

be incorporated throughout the entire year but
