Ireland will host the 2018 FIBA Women’s European Championship for Small Countries for the first time, this summer.

The event will take place at the Mardyke Arena, University College Cork from June 26th to July 1st, 2018.

The hosting of this international event is fantastic news for Ireland and the basketball community. Participating countries in the Championships include; Ireland, Cyprus, Denmark, Gibraltar, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova & Norway.

We are seeking a number of companies to collaborate with Mardyke Arena UCC, FIBA & Basketball Ireland for the Championships. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss the value that such a sponsorship could bring to your brand and organisation.

MVP Sponsor – All Championship Games • Exclusive rights to present the official MVP award after each championship game (20) including the

knockout stages.

• Sponsor to provide prize – this can be branded e.g. a trophy or plate.• The press office for the Championships will promote your company’s sponsorship of the MVP Award

in advance to the Championships online as well as through mainstream print media.• Photography will also be arranged with a representative of your company and the MVP of each

game, this will then be issued by the press office to all relevant local and national media.• Prominent full-page (A4) advertisement in Official Championship Programme.

Programme Advertising • Official Championship Programmes will be sold during the tournament. You will have the potential

to reach a large audience by sponsoring an advertisement in the programme.
