These signs face the starting line on the drag strip, the Win-ner’s Circle and the main grandstands. It’s the premier sign location available at BIR, with high exposure to thousands of race fans who attend our events. The largest event, the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, draws more than 100,000 spectators each year and is televised to millions more worldwide. With the location of the Tower Suites near the starting line, any signage is sure to get a high exposure rate both on and off the track.

This sign is one of the most sought-after locations at BIR. It’s located outside the main entrance along State Highway 371. With exposure for your business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, this location is visible to every person who enters the property as well as more than 30,000 cars that travel Highway 371 annually. Hwy 371 is one of the main thorough-fares between the Twin Cities and northern Minnesota. The electronic scrolling sign alternates between information on upcoming events, time and temperature, and sponsor-related advertising.

This sign is intended to generate interest for local business-es, such as restaurants or hotels in the surrounding area. As people exit BIR onto State Highway 371 (which is the only way to efficiently exit the property), your business name and di-rections will point them to your location. It can also be used to leave that lasting impression of your company brand.

These signage opportunities are intended to associate spe-cific sponsors or brands with a specific seating section or grandstand entrance. Imagine having your name repeatedly used as a reference point to identify a specific grandstand entrance or seating section, not only visually but verbally as people refer to it when giving directions.

These signs hang on the back of the grandstand and face the Midway and concession areas. They’re some of the most vis-ible to the general public as they enter and walk around the infield. These elevated signs tower above the Midway area where everyone gathers for food concessions and wander through the displays and attractions during our main race events. These signs are definitely the most “bang for your buck” in terms of exposure.

Reach racers and race fans with your company’s recorded or live commercial over BIR’s public address system, which also broadcasts on radios at 105.3 FM. These commercials run pe-riodically during all events throughout the season, excluding private events. Production is based off a sponsor-provided script. These are 30-second spots.

Those who are involved in this program receive two (2) 2’ x 8’ signs that are placed in separate locations and are rotated periodically in the following locations:

event area

Have your signage be one of the first things fans and racers see when they enter BIR’s main gates or the campground. These areas are guaranteed to have some of the most traffic passing by them as people access the track and camp-grounds.

The drag strip scoreboards offer high visibility and provide the most repeated viewing for spectators, as well as being captured by TV cameras during the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals. Each of the two lanes on the drag strip has its own score-board, which has room for three (3) sponsor signs each. The infield scoreboard, which is situated in a highly visible location on the new road course and is also in the middle of the campground, has signage from a single sponsor and is referred to as the “(sponsor name) Scoreboard.” The signs are 3’ x 22’ and 4’ x 22’.

The guard walls are among the premier sign locations at BIR, with high exposure during our many drag racing events. Currently, the largest event, the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, draws more than 100,000 spectators and is watched on TV by millions more worldwide. With the location of the guard walls near the drag strip’s starting line, signage in this area gets a high exposure rate both on and off the track. Six 2’ x 8’ signs are included in this package: two (2) at the starting line, two (2) at the eighth-mile mark and two (2) at the finish line, which gets the most TV exposure.

For this signage package, your signs are located on the walls and fencing along the drag strip’s staging lanes, which are directly behind the starting line and next to the Tower Suites. Your signs will be highly visible to our racers, crew members and Tower Suites guests. Everyone who runs down the track rolls right by these signs prior to racing.

BIR is highly regarded for the professionalism and safety of its crew, track preparation and equipment. Its safety equip-ment items is located near the Tower Suites and is ready for use on a daily basis. This equipment is frequently on the track throughout the facility:
