Proposed programThe event will run from 9 – 11 June 2016, with one day of pre conference workshops on 9 June 2016. The program will encompass plenary sessions, clinical updates, education and training workshops and a medico-political debate on rural health issues. The program will also include sessions presented by medical students and overseas trained doctors.
The trade exhibition will be held in the Glasshouse space in The Events Centre Caloundra from Thursday evening through to Saturday afternoon. Based on the positive feedback from the previous conferences we will continue to have conference catering, welcome reception and networking breakfasts on Friday and Saturday, in the trade area to allow extra opportunities to network with delegates and maximise exposure and access to exhibitors.

Marketing and promotionA comprehensive marketing strategy has been put in place to gain maximum exposure for the event and its partners. The strategy combines direct mail, advertising, internet marketing, public relations and promotional activities. The conference will continually be promoted through the conference website, social media, newsletters, related national meetings, industry journals and publications.
The success of our marketing strategy has been demonstrated by a consistent increase in delegate attendance and media coverage over the past few years.

RDAQ conferences offer exciting opportunities for your organisation, providing access to more than 200 doctors and health professionals from remote, rural and regional Queensland.
RDAQ 2016 conference will be held at The Events Centre Caloundra, from 9 – 11 June 2016.
The conference will be a unique and wide ranging forum for exchanging ideas and developing new skills. The event will run over two and a half days and offers one day of pre-conference workshops. The program includes the latest updates in clinical practice and training, topical presentations, discussion forums, debates, policy updates and RDAQ’s traditional medico-political forum discussing issues vital to the survival of rural and remote healthcare.
About the audienceRDAQ conferences attract a high calibre of delegates from remote, rural and regional Queensland. Based on the successful 2015 conference in Cairns, it is expected that the 2016 conference will attract more than 200 delegates from a wide range of medical and health care professions, educational institutions and government organisations including:

RDAQ 2016 trade displayA trade display at RDAQ 2016 is an effective way to reach delegates and potential customers with visual impact.
Your representatives will have the opportunity to provide product demonstrations and training, discuss innovations and network with rural health professionals in a relaxed environment. This unique contact with rural and remote doctors is an inexpensive and time efficient investment.
The trade exhibition will be located in the Glasshouse space of The Events Centre Caloundra. All of the major delegate networking will occur in the trade exhibition area and will be an excellent place to catch up with old colleagues and make new contacts. The conference catering, welcome reception and networking breakfasts will all be held in the trade exhibition area, highlighting it as a hub of activity.
Please note a trade map will be sent on confirmation of a trade stand. The Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors will be allocated first. Best efforts will be made to give exhibitors their first preference. However this is not guaranteed and allocations will be made in the order that applications and payments are received.
