At 16 years old, Robert Lambert is the biggest talent in Speedway Sport in England. He was given his first motorbike at 3 years old and began to race at 6 years old.

After winning all the ‘youth titles’ in England, he travelled to Ger-many and became a rising star at an international youth camp. It is here, where the family met the German Team manager of the National Team; Rene Schafer and began a working future together. After further visits to Germany, in 2012 a decision was made to take part in competitive German racing. His success did not take long, and he fast became one of favourites in the under 21 team, winning the Vice Champion Title. If this wasn’t enough, at only 14 years old he entered the international adult professional Raceway, which put him as 2nd place on the ‘Stortebeker Superpokal’ at the legendary Motordome in Norden Halbemond. It was in this stadium that Egon Muller became the speedway world champion.

After a successful season, the Lambert family decided to commit to future racing in the German Speedway, and start to race in the Royal German State League. Robert took part in the u21 world championships, and the EM Finals and became the most successful under 16 year old.

His ‘sport home’ in Germany is in MSC Cloppenburg and MSC Berghaupten. With René Schä-fer as manager, Robert signed a contract to race for clubs in Denmark and the United Kingdom to develop his skills and 2014 he hold the colours of Outrup SC and Kings Lynn Stars. He continued to compete in German League and soon in other European leagues.

Fastest speed as a formula 1 carAlways on the left turn, the right hand is hard on full gas reaching a speed of 120 km/h cen-timetres from the outside wall and 3 meters from the audience. That is racing. It can be on sand, grass and a Speedway course. Over four fast rounds speeds up to 130 km/h. It’s a fight of man against man, 4 to 6 on the team, 6 solos or up to 12 pilots fight against each other through the curves and the bends. (The next paragraph is technical That‘s Trackracing

Technic and

Rules

Every 3 minutes a new race starts, making it between 20-30 races in one day. The laps are open to anyone, its small talk in the breaks. Technical freaks can see the amazing speeds and much more within this sport.

Braking is not an option. The racer doesn’t have brakesand talks about the engines and about how the fuel is burnt and how this makes it faster than formula 1)
