• Voluntary Committed Cost Sharing

– NSF Policy on Voluntary Committed Cost Sharing– http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/policydocs/pappguide/nsf1100

– Inclusion of voluntary committed cost sharing is prohibited

– Mandatory cost sharing will only be required when explicitly authorized by the NSF Director

• Confidential Invention Disclosure Form (CIDF) submitted to CURF

• CURF Technology Commercialization Officer (TCO) assigned to case

• TCO conducts preliminary review with inventors• CIDF submitted to Intellectual Property

Subcommittee (IPS) for review• IPS recommends action to CURF• CURF manages protecting, marketing and

commercializing invention
