Lubrication Seminar: ALL WELCOME on Friday night @ 6:00pm – Presented

by our series sponsor Cameron Evans, fellow Lucky Dog racer and president of Red Line Synthetic Oil. Grab a beer & snacks and learn about all the types of fluids your car uses and what lubricants work best for different types of cars. Learn what viscosity and type of motor oil, transmission and differential gear oil to run in your race car and track car. And lessons about coolant, CV greases and powering steering…what to run on the track and why.

ORP Event Sponsor: We’re pleased to announce that QuickTrick Portable Alignment Tools is hosting

this event. As Lucky Dog’s first official sponsor when we launched, we are very blessed to be supported by Tess & Gary Winningham, another husband and wife team braving the motorsports industry. It’s been exciting to see them grow from a homemade alignment prototype tool that debuted in 2010 at a Roebling Road Raceway, GA event, to a now thriving operation that has expanded their product line to include turn plates systems, all sold through industry leaders such as Summit Racing, Mac Tools, Speedway Motors, etc. Learn more at www.QuickTrickAlignment.com. And one lucky dog will go home Saturday night with a set of these new QuickTrick Turn Plates ($250 value)! QUICKTRICK WILL BE DONATING $10 FOR EACH ORP ENTRY TO HEROES MOTORSPORT!

Special Event Shirt & Charity: You can’t host a pirate party without the proper attire! It only seemed appropriate

to create a Limited Edition Event Shirt…ADVANCE ORDERS ONLY by 8/5/16. T-shirt design will be displayed shortly. Email us your size & quantity and pick-up & pay for your shirts at Race Central on Friday’s Registration. Youth sizes are available in X-Small (6-8), Small (10-12), Medium (14-16). Adult sizes Small to 4X. Cost: $20 per shirt with proceeds going to the designated event charity Heroes Motorsport.

Oregon-based Heroes Motorsport was formed by veterans to support and encourage

their fellow veterans and first responders who have been affected by their service in the line of duty, by providing the opportunity to engage in motorsports, as a way of reaching out to other veterans. Through an Adaptive Motorsports stock car, disabled veterans are able to feel the excitement of the track, being in the pits close to the action, and the camaraderie that goes with being part of a team. Lucky Dog and Northwest Safety is proud to be partners with this amazing nonprofit organization. Visit www.HereosMotorsport.org.

Not many offsite food options, but see http://oregonraceway.com/our-partners/food/. Friday Dinner Recommendation: Goose Pit Saloon in Wasco (about 20 minutes drive) is a good choice for dinner, but they do better with a heads-up so they don’t run out. lodging options in Grass Valley, OR but definitely more hotels in the extended region as listed on ORP’s website at http://oregonraceway.com/our-partners/lodging/.
