JuliaCon is coming to Lisbon in July 2020. Organised annually by the open source Julia programming language community, in association with NumFOCUS, the conference brings together an audience of developers and scientists, all interested in numerical computing. The conference is organised over five days -- one day of workshops, three days of talks, and a final day for open ended collaboration and development in a hackathon setting.
We invite you to sponsor JuliaCon. As a non-profit, volunteer driven event, your sponsorship allows us, in part, to pay for the conference facilities; enables a diverse audience to attend the event; and supports community infrastructure for Julia development throughout the year.

JuliaCon 2020 will be held at the campus of ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) in Lisbon, Portugal.
ISCTE-IUL is a public university established in 1972 and one of the most dynamic and innovative in Portugal. A leading research university, ISCTE-IUL currently has
about 9,000 students, over half of them in postgraduate programmes. ISCTE-IUL is recognised for excellence in teaching, research and community service, but also for its international and multicultural environment and solid connections to the corporate world that bring real-life business experience to academics and students.
The campus has outstanding conference facilities, and is close to the airport as well as the city center — with metro, bus and mainline train services nearby.
