• Thomas was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in August 2004 when he was 18 months old. He started treatment at UCSF.

• Aggressive protocol - 6 rounds of chemo, resection, stem cell transplant, then radiation

He slept through Robin Williams’ annual visit to UCSF

We began tracking progress/problems . . . .Transferred to PICU for 30 hours, then after 3 days…...

We found the cause after correct counts, xrays and lots of strife

Dec 23, before removal - The lap sponge was making him extremely sick

Feeling Better - 24 Dec - Discharged Home on 28 Dec

We let him remove his own NG

In February 2005 Thomas spent the month having a stem cell transplant.

Thomas is now enjoying Kindergarten - he’ll be turning 6 in February 2009.
