MR200 Marine Receiver User GuideThe MR200 2-channel 2.4GHz Sport Marine receiver is specically designed or

boating applications and is compatible with all surace transmitters eaturing this logo:

I your pistol-grip (surace) transmitter has the Marine logo, then it is compatible

with the MR200. The MR200 is also compatible with Spektrum and JR DSM2

Receiver Installation

In gas- and glow-powered boats, the typical practice is to wrap the main receiver

in protective oam or vibration protection and asten it in place using rubber bands

or hook and loop straps inside the radio box. Alternately, in electric boats, itsacceptable to use thick double-sided oam tape to asten the receiver in place.

Feeder Antennas

The MR200 incorporates dual eeder antennas, oering the security o dual path

RF redundancy. The last 31mm is the active portion o the antenna and should not

be cut or bent over the end o an antenna tube.

During operation the receiver switches between the two antennas. Locating the

antennas in dierent locations in the boat improves the ability o the receiver to

see the signal in all conditions.

Installing the Antennas

For optimum perormance, mount the antennas in an orientation allowing or

the best possible signal reception. Mount one antenna vertically through an

antenna tube as high above the water line as practical. Mount the other antenna

horizontally, typically just under the edge o the deck, using tape to asten the

antenna in place.

Plugging In the Leads

Plug the servo leads into the appropriate servo ports in the receiver noting the

polarity o the servo connector.

You must bind the MR200 receiver to the transmitter beore it will operate.

Binding is the process of teaching the receiver the specic code of the transmitter

so it will only connect to that specic transmitter.

1. To bind an MR200 to a compatible transmitter, insert the bind plug in theBND/BAT port on the receiver.

2. Power the receiver through any open port. The LED on the receiver should be

fashing, indicating the receiver is in bind mode and ready to be bound to the

transmitter.

Note: To bind a boat with an electronic speed controller that powers the

receiver through the throttle channel (ESC/BEC), insert the bind plug intothe BND port in the receiver and the throttle lead into the throttle (THR)

ports.

3. Move the steering wheel and throttle on a surace transmitter and the sticks

on an aircrat transmitter to the desired ailsae positions, generally low throttle

and neutral steering positions. See the ailsae section or more inormationabout ailsae.

4. Follow the procedures o your specic transmitter to enter bind mode; the

system connects within 15 seconds. Once connected, the LED on the receiver

will go solid indicating the system is connected.

5. Remove the bind plug from the BND port on the receiver before you power offthe transmitter and store it in a convenient place.

IMPORTANT: You must remove the bind plug to prevent the system rom entering

bind mode the next time the receiver power is turned on.

6. After youve set up your boat, its important to rebind the system so the true

low throttle and neutral steering positions are set.

FailsaeThe MR200 features Preset Failsafe that is ideal for most types of boats. With

Preset Failsafe, when the signal is lost all channels are driven to their preset

ailsae positions (normally low throttle and neutral steering). Failsae positions

are set during the binding process (see step 3 of the Binding section).

Failsae Operation i Receiver Power Only

When the receiver only is turned on (transmitter is off), all channels have no

output, to avoid operating or arming the electronic speed control.

Failsae Operation Ater Connection

When the transmitter is turned on and after the receiver connects to the

transmitter, normal control o all channels occurs.

After the system makes a connection, if loss of signal occurs, Preset Failsafe

drives all servos to their preset ailsae positions that were set during binding.

When the signal is regained, the system immediately (less than 4ms) regains

control.

Receiver Power System Requirements

Power systems that are unable to provide the necessary minimum voltage and

current demands to the receiver can cause the receiver to ail. Some o the power

system components that aect the ability to properly deliver adequate power

include:

Receiver battery pack (number of cells, capacity, cell type, state of charge)

The ESCs ability to deliver current to the receiver

The switch harness, battery leads, servo leads, regulators, etc.

The MR200 has a minimum operational voltage o 3.5 volts.

Note: The latest generations of nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries

incorporate a new chemistry mandated to be more environmentally

riendly. These batteries, when charged with peak detection ast

chargers, have tendencies to alse peak (not ully charge) repeatedly.

These include all brands of NiMH batteries. If using NiMH packs, be

especially cautious when charging, making absolutely sure that thebattery is ully charged. It is recommended to use a charger that

can display total charge capacity. Note the number of mAh put into a

discharged pack to veriy it has been charged to ull capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions On Spektrum 2.4GHz

1. Q: Ater Ive bound the receiver to my transmitter, which do I turn on frst,the transmitter or the receiver?

A: Every Spektrum transmitter has a GUID (Globally Unique Identier) codeimbedded in its signal. When you bind a Spektrum receiver to your transmitter,

this GUID code is stored in the receiver. If you turn the receiver on before the

transmitter, you dont have to worry about it responding to another transmitter.

The receiver will wait for a signal from the transmitter with the same GUID

code it has stored.

I the transmitter is turned on rst you can expect it to connect within 15

seconds o powering on the receiver.

2. Q: Sometimes the system takes longer to connect and sometimes it doesntconnect at all. Why?

A: In order for the system to connect, the receiver must receive a large number

o uninterrupted signal packets rom the transmitter. This process takes just

a ew seconds, but i the transmitter is too close to the receiver (within 4 eet)

or near metal objects (such as a metal transmitter case, metal truck bed, or

metal work bench) it may detect its own refected 2.4GHz energy as noise.

This can delay or prevent connection.

I this happens make sure you are a sucient distance rom metal objects

and the receiver itsel beore you power up and try again.

3. Q: Is it true that Spektrum systems are less tolerant o low voltage?

A: All Spektrum receivers require at least 3.5V to operate normally. Most servos

cease to operate below 3.8V. Using multiple high-voltage servos, however,

with an inadequate power supply can allow voltage to momentarily drop below

3.5V. This will cause the receiver to brown out and reconnect.

All recently manufactured JR and Spektrum 2.4GHz receivers feature

QuickConnect technology that will reconnect the system within a quarter of a

second should a brown out occur.

4. Q: Sometimes when I power on my Spektrum system I notice the receiverwont connect and it needs to be rebound to the transmitter. Can this

happen in use?

A: No. The receiver cannot be unbound from its transmitter without specic

action by the user. You can accidentally unbind a receiver by inadvertentlyputting your transmitter into bind mode. I this happens and the transmitter

doesnt detect a binding signal from the receiver it can cause the receiver to

be unbound.

If your system fails to connect, chances are much greater that its the result of

one o the ollowing conditions and not because the receiver is unbound.

1. Youve selected the wrong model memory.

2. The transmitter is too close to conductive material to connect

(see FAQ 2).

Inspection or RepairsIf this Product needs to be inspected or repaired, please call for a Return Merchandise Authorization

(RMA). Pack the Product securely using a shipping carton. Please note that original boxes may beincluded, but are not designed to withstand the rigors o shipping without additional protection.

Ship via a carrier that provides tracking and insurance or lost or damaged parcels, as Horizon is

not responsible for merchandise until it arrives and is accepted at our facility. A Service Repair

Request is available at www.horizonhobby.com on the Support tab. I you do not have internet

access, please include a letter with your complete name, street address, email address and phone

number where you can be reached during business days, your RMA number, a list of the included

items, method o payment or any non-warranty expenses and a brie summary o the problem. Your

original sales receipt must also be included for warranty consideration. Be sure your name, address,

and RMA number are clearly written on the outside of the shipping carton.

Warranty Inspection and RepairsTo receive warranty service, you must include your original sales receipt veriying the proo-o-

purchase date. Provided warranty conditions have been met, your Product will be repaired or

replaced ree o charge. Repair or replacement decisions are at the sole discretion o Horizon Hobby.

Non-Warranty RepairsShould your repair not be covered by warranty the repair will be completed and payment will be

required without notication or estimate o the expense unless the expense exceeds 50% o the retail

purchase cost. By submitting the item for repair you are agreeing to payment of the repair without

notication. Repair estimates are available upon request. You must include this request with your repair.

Non-warranty repair estimates will be billed a minimum of hour of labor. In addition you will be billedfor return freight. Please advise us of your preferred method of payment. Horizon accepts money orders

Frequently Asked Questions On Spektrum 2.4GHz

1. Q: After Ive bound the receiver to my transmitter, which do I turn on first,the transmitter or the receiver?

A: Every Spektrum transmitter has a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) code imbeddedin its signal. When you bind a Spektrum receiver to your transmitter, this GUID

code is stored in the receiver. If you turn the receiver on before the transmitter, you

dont have to worry about it responding to another transmitter. The receiver will

wait for a signal from the transmitter with the same GUID code it has stored.

If the transmitter is turned on first you can expect it to connect within 15 seconds

of powering on the receiver.

2. Q: Sometimes the system takes longer to connect and sometimes it doesnt

connect at all. Why?

A: In order for the system to connect, the receiver must receive a large number of

uninterrupted signal packets from the transmitter. This process takes just a few

seconds, but if the transmitter is too close to the receiver (within 4 feet) or near

metal objects (such as a metal transmitter case, metal truck bed, or metal work

bench) it may detect its own reflected 2.4GHz energy as noise. This can delay or

prevent connection.

If this happens make sure you are a sufficient distance from metal objectsand the receiver itself before you power up and try again.

3. Q: Is it true that Spektrum systems are less tolerant of low voltage?

A: All Spektrum receivers require at least 3.5V to operate normally. Most servos

cease to operate below 3.8V. Using multiple high-voltage servos, however, with an

inadequate power supply can allow voltage to momentarily drop below 3.5V. This

will cause the receiver to brown out and reconnect.

All recently manufactured JR and Spektrum 2.4GHz receivers featureQuickConnect technology that will reconnect the system within a quarter of a

second should a brown out occur.

4. Q: Sometimes when I power on my Spektrum system I notice the receiverwont connect and it needs to be rebound to the transmitter. Can this

happen in use?

A: No. The receiver cannot be unbound from its transmitter without specific action

by the user. You can accidentally unbind a receiver by inadvertently putting your

transmitter into bind mode. If this happens and the transmitter doesnt detect abinding signal from the receiver it can cause the receiver to be unbound.

If your system fails to connect, chances are much greater that its the result of one

of the following conditions and not because the receiver is unbound.

1. Youve selected the wrong model memory.

2. The transmitter is too close to conductive material to connect

(see FAQ 2).

Wird dann der Sender eingeschaltet, scant er das Band und sichert zwei offene Kanle.Der Empfnger scant ebenfalls das Band und mit der GUID Funktion wird die Verbindung her-gestellt und das System arbeitet normal.

Wenn der Sender zuerst eingeschaltet wird: Der Sender scant das 2,4 GHz Band und sichertzwei offene Kanle. Der Empfnger scant ebenfalls das Band und sucht die GUID Information.Ist diese aktiv und der ununterbrochene Austausch von Dateninformationen besttigt, verbindetsich das System. Diese dauert zwischen 2 - 6 Sekunden.

2. F: Manchmal braucht das System lnger zum Verbinden, manchmal verbindetes sich gar nicht.

A: Damit die Verbindung zwischen Sender und Empfnger (mit einem bereits gebundenenEmpfnger) hergestellt werden kann, muss der Empfnger einen ununterbrochenen Satz Da-tenstze vom Sender empfangen. Diese Erstverbindung kann von der Umgebung beeinflutwerden oder wenn der Sender zu nah (unter 1,20m ) am Empfnger placiert ist. Metalische

Gegenstnde / Oberflchen wie z. 3. F: Ich habe gehrt das DSM System ist empfindlicher bei niedrigen Spannun-gen. Ist das richtig ?

A: Alle DSM Empfnger haben eine Betriebsspannung von 3,5 bis 9,6 Volt. Mit den meistenSystemen ist das kein Problem, da die meisten Servos eine Spannungsuntergrenze von 3,8 Volthaben. Verwenden Sie mehrere schnelle, krftige Servos mit entsprechend hohen Stromver-brauch mit einem ungeeigneten Akku kann im Fall von starker Beanspruchung die Spannungunter 3,5 Volt fallen und ein Neustart des System ntig machen. Ist kein Signal vorhanden, hat der Sender nicht mehr die empfngerspezifische In-formation und als Ergebnis dessen ist der Empfnger nicht mehr mit dem Sender gebunden.Es gibt einige DX7 Kunden die ungeeignete Senderpulte benutzt haben, die durch das Einsetzendes Senders den Bindeknopf drcken und somit den oben beschriebenen Prozess in Ganggesetzt haben. Andere DX7 Kunden haben leider den Vorgang des Reichweitentest falsch aus-gefhrt und vor dem Einschalten den Bindeknopf gedrck und somit die Verbindung verloren.

Alters Empfehlung: 14 Jahre oder lter. Das ist kein Spielzeug. Dieses Produkt ist nichtgeeignet fr Kinder ohne direkte Aufsicht ihrer Eltern.

Antennes d'alimentationLe MR200 intgre des antennes d'alimentation doubles et ore ainsi la scuritd'une redondance RF deux voies. Les derniers 31 mm orment la partie active del'antenne et ne devraient pas tre coups ou replis la n du tube d'antenne.

En onctionnement, le rcepteur commute entre les deux antennes. Lepositionnement des antennes des endroits trs dirents du bateau amliorebeaucoup la capacit du rcepteur lire le signal quelles que soient lesconditions.

Installation des antennesPour des perormances optimales, il est important de monter les antennes

selon une orientation permettant la meilleure rception possible du signal. Uneantenne doit tre monte la verticale travers un tube pour antenne et ce, leplus possible au-dessus de la ligne d'eau. L'autre antenne doit tre monte l'horizontale, typiquement juste en-dessous de l'arte du pont et en tant x

l'aide de ruban adhsi.

Branchement des raccordements

Branchez les raccordements des servos dans les ports de servo appropris du

rcepteur en tenant compte de la polarit du connecteur de servo.

AffectationAvant de pouvoir fonctionner, le rcepteur MR200 doit tre affect l'metteur.

L'aectation est le processus qui apprend au rcepteur le code spcique del'metteur, de sorte qu'il se connecte uniquement cet metteur.

1. Pour aecter un MR200 un metteur compatible, il aut brancher la prise

d'affectation sur le port BND/BAT du rcepteur.

2. Alimentez le rcepteur par n'importe quel port libre. La DEL situe sur le

rcepteur doit clignoter, indiquant ainsi qu'il est en mode aectation et prt tre aect l'metteur.

A noter: Pour aecter un bateau avec un contrleur lectronique de vitesse quialimente le rcepteur via le canal des gaz (ESC/BEC), il faut brancher

la prise d'affectation sur le port BND du rcepteur et le raccordementde la commande des gaz sur le port de commande des gaz (THR).

3. Dplacez le volant et les gaz (metteur de surace) et les manettes et

interrupteurs (metteur pour arone) pour les amener dans les positions descurit dsires (gnralement: gaz bas et positions de guidage au neutre).

Veuillez consulter la section concerne pour de plus amples inormations propos de la scurit intgre.

4. Respectez les procdures spciques votre metteur pour aller en modeaffectation. Le systme se connectera dans les 15 secondes. Une fois la

connexion tablie, la DEL du rcepteur reste allume, indiquant que le systmeest connect.

5. Retirez la prise d'affectation du port BND du rcepteur avant d'teindre

l'metteur et rangez-la dans un endroit appropri.

IMPORTANT: Retirez la prise d'affectation pour viter que le systme n'entre

nouveau en mode aectation lors de la prochaine mise en marchedu rcepteur.

6. Aprs avoir prpar votre bateau, il est important de raffecter le systme de

aon ce que les vraies positions de gaz bas et de positions de guidage auneutre soient rgles.

Scurit intgreLe MR200 est quip d'un systme de scurit prrgle intgr, idal pour la

plupart des bateaux. Avec cette scurit prrgle, tous les canaux sont amens

leur position de scurit prrgle (normalement: gaz bas et direction au

neutre) en cas de perte du signal. Les positions de scurit sont rgles lors del'affectation (Cf. Etape 3 de la section Affectation).

Fonctionnement de la scurit prrgle du rcepteur seul Lorsque le rcepteur est seul fonctionner (absence de signal de l'metteur),

aucune des voies n'a de sortie ceci an d'viter le onctionnement oul'armement de la commande lectronique de vitesse.

Fonctionnement de la scurit prrgle aprs connexion Le contrle normal de tous les canaux se produit lorsque l'metteur est

allum et que le rcepteur s'est connect l'metteur. Aprs la connexion du systme, et en cas de perte de signal, la scurit

intgre amne tous les servos aux positions de scurit qui ont t rgleslors de l'aectation.

Lorsque le signal est retrouv, le systme reprend le contrle

immdiatement (moins de 4 ms).

Recommandations pour le systme d'alimentation du rcepteur

Des systme d'alimentation incapables de fournir les tension et courant minimum

requis par le rcepteur peuvent entraner une panne du rcepteur. Quelques-

uns des composants du systme d'alimentation affectant la capacit fournir

correctement l'alimentation approprie sont numrs ci-aprs:

Pack de batteries du rcepteur (nombre de batteries, capacit, type de

batterie, tat de charge) La capacit du contrleur lectronique de vitesse fournir du courant au

rcepteur Le cble d'interrupteur, les raccordements des batteries, les raccordements

des servos, les rgulateurs, etc.

La tension oprationnelle minimale du MR200 est de 3,5 volts.

A noter: Les dernires gnrations de batteries hybrides nickel/mtal

(NiMH) intgrent un nouveau mlange chimique, impos en vue durespect de l'environnement. Lorsqu'elles sont charges avec deschargeurs rapides dtection de pics, elles ont tendance aire defaux pics (charge incomplte) de manire rpte. Cela vaut pour

toutes les marques de batteries NiMH. Si vous utilisez des packs de

batteries NiMH, soyez particulirement vigilant lors de la charge et

assurez-vous que la batterie est bien compltement charge. Nous

recommandons d'utiliser un chargeur achant la capacit totale decharge. Notez la quantit de mAh mise dans un pack dcharg an de

vrier qu'il a bien t charg pleine capacit.

Questions frquemment poses au sujet du Spektrum 2,4 GHz

1. Q: Aprs avoir affect le rcepteur mon metteur, lequel des deux dois-je

allumer en premier, l'metteur ou le rcepteur?

R: Chaque metteur Spektrum possde un code GUID (Globally Unique Identier)

interlac dans son signal. Lorsque vous aectez un rcepteur Spektrum votre metteur, ce code GUID est mmoris dans le rcepteur. Si vous allumez

le rcepteur avant l'metteur, vous n'avez pas craindre qu'il rponde unautre metteur. Le rcepteur attendra un signal en provenance de l'metteurcomportant le mme code GUID qu'il a mmoris.

Si l'on allume l'metteur en premier, vous pouvez vous attendre le voir seconnecter dans les 15 secondes qui suivent la mise en route du rcepteur.

2. Q: Le systme prend parfois plus de temps pour se connecter et parfois ne

se connecte pas du tout. Pourquoi?R: An d'assurer la connexion du systme, le rcepteur doit recevoir une quantit

importante de paquets ininterrompus de la part de l'metteur. Ce processus

ne prend que quelques secondes, mais si l'metteur se trouve trop prt durcepteur (moins de 1,2 mtre) ou proximit d'objets mtalliques (tels que

valise de l'metteur, plateau d'un vhicule, table de mtal d'un plan de travail)il se peut qu'il dtecte sa propre nergie 2,4 GHz rfchie comme tant du bruit . Ceci peut retarder la connexion voire l'empcher.

Si cela devait arriver, assurez-vous qu'il y ait une distance sufsante entre lesobjets mtalliques et le rcepteur avant de le remettre en route et d'essayer

nouveau.

3. Q: Est-il vrai que les systmes Spektrum tolrent moins les tensions

basses?

R: Tous les rcepteurs Spektrum requirent au moins 3,5 V pour onctionnernormalement. La plupart des servos cessent de onctionner en dessous de

3,8 V. L'utilisation de servos multiples haute tension avec une alimentationinadapte, peut entraner une chute momentane de la tension en-dessousde 3,5 V. Ceci entranera une perte de tension (brown out) du rcepteur et sa

reconnexion.

Tous les rcepteurs 2,4 GHz JR et Spektrum de abrication rcente 2.4GHzincluent la fonction QuickConnect qui reconnectera le systme en moins d'un

quart de seconde en cas de perte de tension.

4. Q: Parfois, lorsque j'allume mon systme Spektrum, je constate que le

rcepteur ne se connecte pas et qu'il ncessite une raffectation l'metteur. Cela peut-il se produire en cours d'utilisation?

R: Non. Le rcepteur ne perdra jamais son affectation l'metteur sans une

action spcique de l'utilisateur. Il peut se aire que vous assiez perdrel'aectation un rcepteur en mettant par inadvertance votre metteur enmode d'aectation. Si cela arrive et que l'metteur ne dtecte pas de signald'aectation du rcepteur, cela peut entraner une perte d'aectation durcepteur.

Si votre systme ne veut pas se connecter, il est fort probable que cela soit le

rsultat de l'une des conditions suivantes et non pas de la perte d'aectationdu rcepteur.1. Vous avez choisi une mmoire de modle errone.2. L'metteur est trop prt de matriaux conducteurs pour se connecter (Cf.

FAQ 2).

La dure de garantie est de 6 mois et la duredobligation de garantie de 18 mois lexpiration de la priode de garantie.

Nelle imbarcazioni a benzina e a glow, solitamente si avvolge il ricevitore principale

in una spugna protettiva antivibrazioni e lo si fssa in un luogo usando dei nastri in

gomma o agganciando fra loro delle bandelle al box della radio. In alternativa, nelle

imbarcazioni elettriche, accettabile l'uso di nastri spugnosi da ambo i lati per

fssare il ricevitore al suo posto.

Antenne di alimentazioneL'MR200 ha due antenne di alimentazione, offrendo la sicurezza della ridondanza

del doppio percorso RF. Gli ultimi 31mm compongono la parte attiva dell'antenna

e non dovrebbero essere tagliate o piegate quando fuoriescono dal tubo

dell'antenna.

Durante il funzionamento, il ricevitore passa fra le due antenne. Posizionando

le antenne in varie ubicazioni dell'imbarcazione si migliora la possibilit del

ricevitore di captare il segnale in tutte le condizioni.

Installare le antenne

Per delle prestazioni ottimali bisogna montare le antenne in modo tale da

ottenere la migliore ricezione possibile. Un'antenna dovrebbe essere montataverticalmente all'interno di un tubo, quanto pi in alto possibile rispetto allo

specchio d'acqua. L'altra antenna dovrebbe essere montata orizzontalmente,

solitamente proprio sotto il ponte, usando del nastro per fssarla.

Connettere i cavi

Inserire i cavi dei servo nelle apposite porte nel ricevitore, prestando attenzione

alla polarit del connettore del servo.

Collegamento

Il ricevitore MR200 deve essere collegato al trasmettitore prima di essere

azionato. Il collegamento il processo che impartisce al ricevitore il codice

specico del trasmettitore in modo tale che potr essere connesso solo a quel

trasmettitore specifco.

1. Per collegare un MR200 ad un trasmettitore compatibile bisogna inserire ilconnettore nella porta BND/BAT del ricevitore.

2. Alimentare il ricevitore tramite una qualsiasi porta aperta. Il LED sul ricevitore

dovrebbe lampeggiare indicando che il ricevitore in modalit di connessione

ed pronto per essere connesso al trasmettitore.

Nota: Per collegare un'imbarcazione ad un controllo elettronico della velocit

che alimenta il ricevitore tramite il canale throttle (ESC/BEC) bisognainserire il plug di collegamento nella porta BND del ricevitore e il

connettore del throttle in una delle porte del throttle (THR).

3. Muovere la ruota di comando e il throttle su un trasmettitore di superfcie,

muovere le barre su un trasmettitore per aerei nella posizione di failsafedesiderata, solitamente low throttle e le posizioni di controllo del neutro. Vedere

la prossima sezione per maggiori informazioni sul Failsafe.

4. Seguire le procedure speciche per il trasmettitore per iniziare la modalit di

collegamento; il sistema si connetter entro 15 secondi. Dopo la connessione,

il LED sul ricevitore rimarr sso, indicando che il sistema connesso.

5. Rimuovere il plug di collegamento della porta BND sul ricevitore prima di

staccare l'alimentazione al trasmettitore, e conservarlo in un luogo sicuro.

IMPORTANTE: Bisogna rimuovere il plug di collegamento per evitare che il

sistema si avvii nella modalit di collegamento la prossima volta

che verr riattivata l'alimentazione.

6. Dopo aver impostato la vostra imbarcazione importante ricollegare il sistema in

modo tale da impostare il vero low throttle e le posizioni di controllo del neutro.

Failsae

L'MR200 ha un Failsafe preimpostato che ideale per la maggior parte delle

imbarcazioni. Con il Failsafe preimpostato, quando il segnale si perde tutti i canali

sono riportati alle loro posizioni di failsafe iniziali (solitamente low throttle e

controllo neutro). Le posizioni di failsafe vengono impostate durante il processo di

collegamento (vedi fase 3 alla sezione relativa al collegamento).

Funzionamento del ailsae solo col ricevitore Quando solo il ricevitore acceso (il trasmettitore spento) il canale throttle

non ha alcuna uscita al ne di evitare un funzionamento o un azionamento del

controllo elettronico della velocit.

Funzionamento del ailsae dopo la connessione

Il controllo di tutti i canali avviene quando il trasmettitore acceso e dopo che

il ricevitore si connette al trasmettitore.

Dopo che il sistema effettua la connessione, se avviene una perdita di segnale il

failsafe preimpostato pilota i servo del throttle, dell'alettone e dell'elevatore alleloro posizioni preimpostate durante il collegamento.

Quando il segnale viene riacquistato, il sistema riprende immediatamente il

controllo (meno di 4ms).

Requisiti di sistema di alimentazione del ricevitore

I sistemi di alimentazione che non sono in grado di fornire la tensione minima

necessaria e la corrente adeguata al ricevitore possono non farlo funzionare

correttamente. Alcuni dei componenti del sistema di alimentazione che

inuiscono sulla capacit di fornire un'adeguata tensione sono:

Set di batterie del ricevitore (numero di celle, capacit, tipo di celle, stato della

carica)

La capacit di ESC di fornire la corrente al ricevitore

Il collegamento dell'interruttore, i cavi della batteria, i cavi del servo,

e regolatori, etc.

L'MR200 ha una minima tensione di esercizio di 3.5 volt.

Nota: Le ultime generazioni di batterie ibride al nickel (NiMH) hanno dei nuovi

obblighi a livello chimico, per essere pi ecocompatibili. Queste batterie,

quando sono caricate con dei caricatori rapidi con rilevamento di picco,

hanno la tendenza a dimostrare un falso picco (non del tutto cariche).

Fra esse ci sono tutte le marche di batterie NiMH. Se si usano dei set

di batterie NiMH bisogna prestare molta attenzione durante la carica,

assicurandosi che le batterie siano del tutto cariche. Si raccomanda di

usare un caricatore che possa indicare correttamente la capacit totale dicarica. E' bene notare il numero di mAh in un set scarico di batterie per

vericare che sia stato caricato no alla piena capacit.

Domande poste con requenza su Spektrum 2.4GHz

1. D: Dopo aver collegato il ricevitore al trasmettitore, quale devo accendere

per primo, il trasmettitore o il ricevitore?

R: Ogni trasmettitore Spektrum ha un codice GUID (Globally Unique Identier)

integrato nel suo segnale. Quando si collega un ricevitore Spektrum altrasmettitore, questo codice GUID viene memorizzato nel ricevitore. Se si

accende per primo il trasmettitore non bisogna preoccuparsi di rispondere al

un altro trasmettitore. Il ricevitore aspetter no all'arrivo del segnale con lo

stesso codice GUID memorizzato.

Se il trasmettitore acceso per primo esso si connetter entro 15 secondi al

ricevitore.

2. D: A volte il sistema impiega troppo tempo per connettersi e perch a volte

non si connette aatto Perch?

R: Afnch il sistema si possa connettere il ricevitore deve ricevere un grande

numero ininterrotto di pacchetti dal trasmettitore. Se il trasmettitore troppo

vicino al ricevitore (meno di 1,10 m) o se il trasmettitore ubicato vicino

a oggetti metallici (alloggiamento metallico del Tx, un pianale di un camion, un

banco da lavoro metallico, etc) la connessione impiegher molto tempo e in

alcuni casi potr non avvenire in quanto il sistema ricever l'energia a 2.4GHz

da s stesso e la interpreter come "un'interferenza". Ci pu ritardareo impedire la connessione.

Se ci avviene bisogna assicurarsi di stare ad una distanza sufciente da

oggetti metallici

e del ricevitore prima di riaccenderlo e di riprovare.

3. D: E' vero che i sistemi Spektrum sono meno tolleranti ad una bassa

tensione?

R: Tutti i ricevitori Spektrum necessitano di almeno 3.5V per funzionarenormalmente. La maggior parte dei servo cessano di funzionare sotto i 3.8V.

Usando dei servo multipli ad alta tensione con un'adeguata alimentazione

possibile che l'alimentazione scenda momentaneamente sotto i 3.5V. Ci

comporter una caduta di tensione del ricevitore e una riconnessione.

Tutti i ricevitori JR e Spektrum 2.4GHz fabbricati di recente hanno la tecnologia

QuickConnect che riconnetter il sistema entro un quarto di secondo, in caso

di cali di tensione.

4. D: A volte quando accendo il mio sistema Spektrum noto che il ricevitorenon si connette e deve essere ricollegato al trasmettitore. Ci pu

avvenire durante l'utilizzo?

R: No. Il ricevitore non pu essere scollegato dal suo trasmettitore senza un

intervento specico dell'utente. E' possibile scollegare accidentalmente un

ricevitore mettendo il trasmettitore in modalit di collegamento. Se ci accade,

il trasmettitore non rileva un segnale di collegamento dal ricevitore e ci pu

causare uno scollegamento del ricevitore.

Se il sistema non riesce a connettersi ci sono molte pi possibilit che la

causa sia una delle seguenti condizioni e non sia dovuta ad uno scollegamento

del ricevitore.

1. E' stato selezionato il modello di memoria errato.

2. Il trasmettitore troppo vicino a materiali conduttori per connettersi

(vedi FAQ 2).
