A bomb that explodes a short while afteryou throw it. The explosion can bothdamage enemies and paint the surroundingarea.

A bomb that explodes as soon as it hitsanything. The explosion is small and notthat powerful, but these bombs can bethrown repeatedly without consuming toomuch ink.

This weapon doesn't actually deal damage,but it will let all your teammates know aboutany foes in its vicinity.

A bomb that sticks to walls or the ground.Great for attacking foes loitering on narrowwalkways or lurking next to walls.

This device attaches itself to the ground orto a wall, and then sprays ink around. Youcan only place one at a time. Placing a newone will make the previous one disappear.

This weapon creates a wall of ink in front ofyou, blocking enemies from attacking orapproaching. Enemy attacks will make itbreak down more quickly. You can onlyplace one at a time.

This device emits a special signal that canbe detected by Inklings. Once placed, it'llappear on everyone's map, and any of yourteammates can Super Jump to that positionby touching it. It's single-use, so it'll breakonce somebody jumps to it. You can placeup to three at once.

This bottle contains venomous fluidsextracted from a certain creature. Touchingthis liquid will greatly inhibit an Inkling'sabilities for a certain length of time,preventing them from fighting effectively.

Place this trap on the ground, and it'llexplode when an enemy comes too close.It's concealed by your own colour of ink,but if it gets painted a different colour it'llexplode then and there. You can only placeone at a time.

Enter a secret underground world and face off againstan octopus army! The goal is to grab the Zapfish atthe end of each stage without losing all of your lifegauge.

You lose one segment if you get splatted, andregain one segment when you pass through acheckpoint. If the entire gauge is depleted, you'llbe kicked back out to Octo Valley.

Shows how many Power Egg you'vecollected.

Somewhere in each stage is a mysterious scrollthat sheds light on the secrets of the world. Thisicon will appear if you've nabbed it.
