You will need: A bandana A white cheap basic t-shirt A belt or scarf tie Wrap the bandana around the hair Use scissors to remove the collar, cut and fray the edges of the neck, sleeves and hem of the t-shirt Add a belt or tie another bandana around the middle Team it up with a pirate’s cutlass for the full effect Attitude – Ahhhhhhhh! Don’t feel you have to stick to these ideas, your dressing up can be as simple as an eye patch or a tiara. But, if you have an idea for a wonderful pirate or princess costume do go ahead! We would love to see your creations!

Black or white baby growSkull and crossbones fabric iron or sew on patch or fabric pensPirate hat or bandana

• A plain baby grow can be transformed into a pirate outfit with a skull and crossbones patch – readily available online

• Or why not use your artistic flair and use fabric pens to draw your own?
