You’ll Need

Step 1. Measure 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of cornstarch.

Step 2. Pour the cornstarch into a bowl.

Step 3. Label the bowl “cornstarch.”

Step 4. Measure 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of baking soda.

Step 5. Pour the baking soda into a second bowl.

Step 6. Label the bowl “baking soda.”

Step 7. Measure 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of salt.

Step 8. Pour the salt into a third bowl.

Step 9. Label the bowl “salt.”

Step 10. Add 25 milliliters (1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons)of water to each bowl.

Step 11. Stir each mixture well. Note the differencesin thickness for each one.
