B&nes place in the world is not always where one feels comfortable.+ometimes feeling safe is not a sign of ones destination.We are all spirits, traveling without end, from one life to another, one world at a time.

There is no path but the one that we ma)e, thus the path follows us. :verything is acycle.

ain is a part of life.&ne might consider it payment for the gift of existence.Nothing is accomplished until it has been ac(uired through pain.

Trust is always a di!cult prospect.>oing so re(uires one to let go of fear.When our trust has been violated, the pain experienced is the )nowing that one mustremain more guarded.

This is a mista)e. To achieve enlightenment, all fear must be shed.%ear of pain, fear of death, fear of limitation.

There is no single path that we all must follow. Those that claim that their way is the only way are limited in their perspective.

We cannot all be the same, nor should we try to be. The human race is that of variety, and therefore we must not allow people to be force intoa mold.:verything is a cycle, an echo of times long passed.

4F:verything around you is a sign.:very gust of wind, every scent.:very sight is a vision.

There is nothing without meaning.+o pay close attention to everything around you.

There is no experience that is insigni3cant.

What is around you right now9 Where are you9 What colors do you see9 What movementdo you see9 5ow did it get there9 What trillions of things had to occur in order for yourcurrent situation to ta)e place.:verything around you is a miracle.

41 The -- 2ows through all things.It is both energy and emptiness.In its form of energy, it is all matter6people, animals, nature, the land, the city, the ocean, the air, etc.In its form of emptiness, it is void, and because it is nothingness it can be everywhere.It is here, it is there.

It is this and that, and everything in between.What is the diGerent between here and there, this and that, between you and I9

The -- is all things and so there is no diGerence.Nothing moves. Nothing changes. *ll is illusion.Eany people try to tie things down with de3nitions.

Things are either one thing or another, they would say./eality cannot be tied down, cannot be de3ned.* reality can be an illusion.>reams can be visions.oincidences can be %ate.

Imagination can be creation.Insanity can be insight.>uality is unity, unity is duality.*ll diGerences are the same.

4 The -- contains all )nowledge, all wisdom, all information, past, present, and future.

Its been debated as to whether things such as fate and destiny are real, in that ourfuture would be predetermined.Imagine that you are facing a wall.&n the other side of that wall is your future.

ou dont )now what that future is, but you still have the freedom to choose. The -- could be represented as a person standing on a ladder that could see over thatwall.It )nows what choice youre going to ma)e, yet you are still free to ma)e that choice.It is a matter of Time. >oes it exist9ould it be an illusion9If the -- is everything then everything is the same, and by way of logic, nothing moves.What is time without movement9

44ain is a natural part of life.It is, more or less, the driving force behind everything we do or decide not to do.

That is not to say that it is unavoidable.&ne cannot hope to eliminate pain in your life, but you can change how you respond to it.Euch li)e light passes through empty space, pain can pass through you, leaving youunaGected.When you are standing in the rain, most people have a natural reaction to cringe, to duc)away from the rain, to hide their heads.

ou can approach this idea metaphorically, or literally experience it by standing in therain and )eeping your head up, letting it soa) you through to your soul.

&pen yourself.5old your head up and welcome all that comes into your life.

This is the foundation of humility.

4=:nlightenment is a reali8ation, not an action.It cannot be achieved, it can only be seen as ones true nature.Eost Westerners believe that enlightenment is some lofty goal that the :asterners see)to achieve.*long with that belief comes the assumption that there is a process or some sort of actionwe must underta)e, or some particular place you need to be, in order to reach it.

This is incorrect. The only enlightenment you 3nd at the top of the mountain is the enlightenment youbring with you. :nlightenment is not a result of action, but a result of reali8ation.

There is nothing you can do to become enlightened. To put eGort into becoming enlightened pushes it further away from you, as the thoughtof becoming enlightened gives rise to the thought that you are not enlightened.

The way around this is to let go of eGort.

4?0y doing less, by releasing the pressure you create for yourself, you achieve somethingeven greater6Inner peace.

+ometimes it is actually necessary to give up. ou dont always have to 3ght.0y letting go of one thing, you gain something else.

et, the something else you gain has no substance.It does not ta)e up room in your mind.It is enlightenment.

That is, you are -enlightened-, or -lighter-, with less weight.

4A The -- does not arise from anything.It is everything.

ou cant escape it anymore than you can exit the universe.

In that sense, no religion is re(uired, only awareness.Hnowing where -- came from is li)e trying to imagine the universe when it was born.

ou cant see it because you cannot stand apart from something that you are a part of.*ll around you is --.In the sunlight shining down on you.

The wind. The animals. our breath.* childs laughter.When you fall in love.:very single physical ob'ect, every emotion, every spiritual experienceK*## &% /:*#ITKis --.

It is un)nowable in the sense that it is so close that it is right in front of you,#i)e a 3sh living in water.It is the destination before you even leave your origin.

4B The important point is that to be a warrior does not mean )nowing how to 3ght well,but to have the heart, the drive, the commitment, the selfCsacri3ce, and so on.

This can be applied to the ways of --.What ma)es a person is not how many classes he ta)es or codes he memori8es, but herpure desire, her need, to follow the path.

7What we see and experience in the world what we call #ife may not last forever, but ourvision is severely limited.We can no more loo) before our birth anymore than we can see beyond our death.0ut that doesnt mean our life, our essence, ceases to exist past those points.Whether or not you believe in reincarnation, one can logically come to the conclusion that

life extends far in both directions.

%rom inside the universe as we are, we see many separate things.0ut what if we were able to travel far enough outside the universe and loo) in.

The light from the big bang would not have even reached us yet,so what would we see9* singularity.+o the (uestion is, has the big bang even happened9We are all &neWe are the seed.We are the singularity.What you see depends on when and where you are loo)ing at the universe.

Time and space are an illusionL unless we decide theyMre not.

7= The concept of #ove is simple.It is the ac)nowledgement that two are one;that *ll Is &ne.&ne must be aware of in and ang for a successful relationship.eople tend to fall in love, and spend every wa)ing minute with the other person.

This is often a mista)e, because, to be blunt, you get sic) of the other person.It re(uires balance, both togetherness and separation.*s the old saying goes, absence ma)es the heart grow fonderJ.+pend too much time together and the love might fade.+pend too much time apart and your heart aches.

The point between, the middle path, is what leads to happy relationships.
