100 % NORDIC WHITE WOOD

Siparila Topcoat ® is made of 100% Nordic White Wood—not mixed

species—resulting in a consistent and stable product. Nordic White

Wood is a PEFC certified and sustainable raw material.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

While trees grow they naturally improve the environment as they

absorb and store carbon, keeping it out of the atmosphere. Building

with wood and using modern forest management helps regenerate

healthily forests. Unlike manufactured material, wood is renewable

and sustainable.

Responsibility for environment and society

Siparila uses only PEFC / FSC certified wood and adheres to

Finnish forestry laws aimed at safeguarding national

resources.

Siparila was the first company in Finland to gain FI certification

for priming and topcoating wooden panels.

Siparila wood products are CE marked which guarantees that

no harmful materials or surface treatment agents are used in

the production.

The Finnish RINKI certificate ensures that packing materials

are recyclable and that all the packing materials used in

Siparila factories are recycled.

NO MORE PAINTING

Siparila siding does not require further treatment on the construction site. SiparilaTopcoat ® siding is protected with 3 coats of high-quality acrylic UV-resistant paints and primers in a closely monitored, environmentally controlled facility.

ACCURATE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL

Siparila Topcoat® fixed-length siding helps installers calculate the amount of the siding required for a project more precisely. The siding arrives packed in bundles containing the exact number of pieces, ensuring the accuracy of materials at hand.

More durable facades

INVISIBLE FASTENING

Siparila uses a tongue-and-groove fastening system which hides the fasteners underneath the next panel, creating a smooth façade. This increases the siding’s durability as water cannot seep through nail heads and damage the wood beneath.

TIGHT AND DENSE TIMBER

We choose our raw material from the top portion of the trees which means naturally occurring knots are fewer and smaller eliminating the need for patching. Because of Finland’s long winters, which creates a short summer growing season, the wood is tough, dense, and straight-grained.

END-MATCHED JOINTS

Every Siparila Topcoat® siding piece is end-matched to allow for flexible joint placement. Not being bound to stud placement during installation ultimately decreases the material loss by 5-10%.

End-matched profiles also increase durability, protecting the joint from the environment. As one piece of siding locks into the adjoining board it eliminates the need for caulking or the join to be over a supporting stud.

Fixed-length siding helps installers calculate the amount of siding required more precisely; there are no short or random lengths.

PROTECTION AGAINST MOISTURE AND SUN

The paint layer protecting Siparila Topcoat ® sidingis painted using high quality paints with UV inhibitors. The quality of our wood fibre and revolutionary paint technology ensures that there is no need to repaint for the duration of Siparila’s 15 year warranty.

PROTECTION AGAINST DECAY

Every piece of Siparila Topcoat siding is primed on all four sides. This prevents growth of fungi and appearance of the decay on the back side of thesiding. Also the thickness increases the durability of the siding.
