D E S C R I P T I O N Learn about Texas and our most famous food - BBQ! First, we educate guests on what makes a great BBQ spice rub and then they can try it for themselves! We’ll set up a themed station where participants will make sample combinations using a variety of spices provided using sample mixing cups. Once they come up with their perfect combination, we’ll transfer it to a real spice jar, label it and send it home with them for their very own Texas souvenir.

D E S C R I P T I O N Want to really get your guests geared up like a Texan? Add some fun to your stay with a “Make Your Own Cowboy / Cowgirl” station. Great for when guests check in or in between meeting sessions, this sets the tone for the rest of the trip. First, participants will choose their hat (we have 8 different colors!), then they choose their hat band and finally they choose their embellishment. This could be a feather, beads, stones or even a combination of all three! This station is facilitated by our staff so participants can finish their hat within less than five minutes. It’s fun to see people wearing their hats throughout their stay!

D E S C R I P T I O N Perfect for an intro ice-breaker or mid-meeting break, this is an activity that gets people working together and moving around. And who doesn’t love Legos? Here’s how it works: we take various shapes and sizes of jumbo Legos and have a structure in mind that guests must build. They have no idea what the structure is. As a team, they send one player up to the facilitator that shows them a picture of the first step, which may be lining up 3 green Legos and 1 yellow Lego. They have 10 seconds to look at the picture and communicate this to their team. This goes on for 12 rounds until the structure is fully completed. The trick is, the person looking at the picture cannot actually build the structure, they must only communicate what they are seeing. If the person before you got their part wrong, you have to re-do their step and communicate your step. This event gets guests a burst of high-intensity team-bonding in approximately 10-15 minutes. This is one micro-event they will really remember!

You can choose to make this a single 30-minute activity or a 3-hour event. Get crafty without shopping for the materials or cleaning up!

Take home a volcano candle or the Texas bluebonnet candle. With endless combinations, this is the perfect break and great way to take home a piece of Austin.

In this 30-45-minute session, our barista will teach you everything you want to know about this drink and we will have an actual coffee tasting or “cupping” as it’s called among enthusiasts. Guests will learn how to smell the aroma, identify different flavors and taste different varieties so guests understand the origin of the bean, the grinding process, and how it’s made. Join us in this experiential journey of coffee!

Our expert Improv Masters will start with basic games with groups of 10-50 participants to get everyone comfortable and then move up to more advanced role-plays. These activities are fun for the beginner as well as more experienced folks and can cater to short sessions of 15 minutes to an hour. This is a great way to get people up and moving during a break between long meetings.

D E S C R I P T I O N This card-making station is quick, easy and goes toward a good cause. Using a scrapbook-style format, all the components are pre-designed and pre-cut for the attendees. Guests have sent thousands of cards to military members and their families, Ronald McDonald Houses, children in local hospitals, and the in local nursing facilities over the years and it always a success with meeting attendees.
