Speed Racer Classic & Racer X’s Revenge Review

The Speed Racer Classic and Racer X’s Revenge,

was a perfect autocross weekend, all the way to the end.

With the help of club members and all of our volunteers,

we set up the track with cones and start n stop timing gear.

The registration went smooth and the drivers split into two groups,

we were able to drive 8 runs in the morning and 8 more in the afternoon.

There were 11 drivers Saturday and 10 the next day,

with three guests joining in each of them days.

Some of us walked and some of us drove,

but we all ended up, at the restaurant Volcano.

There were 12 of us for dinner on that Saturday night,

I think everyone enjoyed it, sure hope I’m right.

The track was set up, at times kind of fast,

And long sweeping curves that really seemed to last.

Some drivers went off the track and tossed up some turf,

I won’t name any names; I don’t want to be a jerk.

The track thanks to Luke, was challenging and fun,

A perfect way to learn your car and driving skills some.

I want to say thanks, to all that had worked and drove,

because it is all for the love of driving and not going slow.
