Gravity FlowFlats loaded on the rear of rack move toward the front picking zone on inclined shelves equipped with Kenrailroller tracle Racks have 1 or 2 picking levels, up to 20' deep. Flats flow on a galvanized steel track withpolyethylene wheels on 11/2"centers. Many sizes available, racks can be made to your specifications.

SAVES ORGANIZES PICKINGOrder picking is done in a centralized locationnear shipping area. Fewer workers can pickmany different plants from a small area,drastically reducing walking time.

Restocking flow rack, picking orders, and loadingshipping carts are separate operations and can bedone simultaneously. This makes a less con-gested, more orderly picking environment.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Workers load flats at rear of rack. labels at each end

insure order accuracy, while rollers in the lane carryproduct gently down to the order picking end.

Conveyors carry flats to order assembly workers whoquickly load a cart with a specific order.

Order pickers at the front of flow rack select flats fromthe appropriate lane for a specific order, then place themon an adjacent conveyor (or directly on shipping carts).

Completed orders on carts are transported to theshipping dock, even as other orders are beingassembled.
