"Modeling and Computer
T e c h n o l o g y i n
T h e r m o p hy s i c s " a r e
focused on the study of
heat and mass transfer
processes, development of heat exchange devices, thermal
stabilization systems in energy and electronics, aerospace,
transport and construction.
This requires thorough physical and mathematical, computer
and engineering training, knowledge of foreign languages, the
ability to work with modern programming languages and software
(C++, Python, Kompas,
Autodesk Inventor, MathCad,
ANSYS, Fluent and others).
During their studies,
s t u d e n t s a r e a c t i v e l y
involved in the R&D work of
scientific groups of the
d e p a r t m e n t a n d h ave
possibility to take part in domestic and
i n t e r n a t i o n a l r e s e a r c h a n d
development projects. In particular,
the graduating department has
recently cooperated with the German
Aerospace Agency DLR (Germany),
Sandia National LABs (USA), Thales
Alenia Space (France), LG (Korea), Huawei (China), ProgresTech
(Ukraine) and many others.
Graduates of the specialty have real prospects for career
growth of a scientist, obtaining PhD and
doctoral degrees.
Graduates hold senior positions at
institutions of the National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine, design offices, leading
domestic and foreign energy and
innovation companies. Guidance of such
specialists provides energy efficiency
technologies implementation at communal
and industrial facilities and development of
alternative energetics.
