Legacy - ArtistCollage

Many collages can be found throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. At the Magic Kingdom Park, you can watch The Magic, Memories and You! and view a photo collage take center stage on Cinderella Castle. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, view the collage of animals carved into The Tree of Life or check out a large collage of animals on the entrance walls to Rafiki’s Planet Watch®.

Preserving memories allows for you to fondly reminisce over your experiences and allows you to fully describe the depth of your trip to others. Use the items that you collected on your trip, including photos, tickets, maps and more to create a collage that will fuse the magic of Disney and your memories in a creative medium.

The Walt Disney World Resort offers many experiences and attractions that celebrate America’s heritage. Watch The American Adventure at Epcot to learn more about Susan B. Anthony and voting rights for women. Experience different speeches from our past and present Presidents at The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom Park.

The Walt Disney World Resort has many cultural dining options, including Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Use your creativity to create multiple dishes with the same secret food or create multiple salads with different ingredients. Consider how you can do this with local food at home.

The Land at Epcot features many attractions to inform us about eco-friendly decisions and local growing options such as hydroponic gardening. Ride Living with the Land for a greenhouse tour to see the produce that is grown and used all over the Walt Disney World Resort. You can also take a more in-depth experience with the Behind the Seeds Tour. Learn how the produce grown at The Land goes from the greenhouse to Epcot restaurants.

Mission: SPACE® at Epcot is a motion simulator ride that gets you as close as you can get to blasting off into space. This attraction simulates what an astronaut might experience during a space flight. Get your troop together and see if you can complete your space mission to Mars!

The Walt Disney World Resort offers several different space themed attractions. Be sure you get the full space experience by riding Spaceship Earth® and Mission: SPACE® at Epcot, as well as Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom Park. All three of these attractions provide learning experiences while you wait in line and interactive activities at the attraction exit.

It’s Your World – Digital ArtsWebsite Designer

Gather content while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. If you stay at a Resort Hotel, check out the “Must Do Disney” channel. Stacey, the host, will take you all over property and show you the best of the best at the Walt Disney World Resort. Use her ideas as inspiration for your own blog. Get out and experience all the Must Do attractions, so you can write about it.

The Walt Disney World Resort is the subject of many blogs and fan sites. See if you can create a blog that will showcase your trip.

It’s Your World – Healthy LivingWomen’s Health

Explore the products and items throughout merchandise locations in World Showcase at Epcot. From perfume and makeup in France to charms and scarves at Morocco, you can get a feel for beauty rituals around the globe. Be sure to ask the Disney Cast Members about trends in their home countries.

Once here, the Walt Disney World Resort offers an experience to cleanse and revive our mental palettes so that we can become more stable in our health, through enjoying the serenity of the scenery and interaction with loved ones. Vacations at Disney offer a time for families and friends to bond with one another. Use the memories of your Disney trip to sustain happiness and control all facets of your health. And don’t be afraid to take a trip to one of the Disney Spas for a little pampering, too!

Here at the Walt Disney World Resort the entertainment of animation and films come to life through live performances. Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo – The Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park are great options. Disney uses the power of performance to bring every aspect of the Walt Disney World Resort to life. Throughout the Disney Theme Parks, the concept of performing transcends the stage. Performance elements help create the atmosphere throughout the theme parks, from horse-drawn carriages at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort to background music that is played throughout the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels.

It’s Your World – Science & TechnologyScience of Style

Visit the shops in Norway and France to learn about the science behind perfume making. Compare your favorites with the other girls in your troop. Try to create your own scent once you’ve returned home.

Traveling the globe allows you to experience different cultures, styles and fashion trends. World Showcase at Epcot allows you to experience trends throughout the world with just a quick walk around the World Showcase Lagoon. Take some time and chat with Cast Members in each pavilion to learn about beauty trends in their home countries.

It’s Your World – StorytellingNovelist

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allow the artwork at The Magic of Animation and Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream to inspire your creativity. Analyze techniques that the artists use to differentiate between villain and hero. How will this inspire you as you write your story?

Get inspired by some classic novels and check out Tom Sawyer Island and The Swiss Family Treehouse at the Magic Kingdom Park. How are these attractions similar to the books they are based on?

The Walt Disney World Resort offers many attractions that conceptualize and connect the plots of our favorite Disney movies. Explore how Walt Disney Imagineering, the team responsible for bringing attractions to life, condensed the stories and consider how they chose the scenes.

How do these chosen scenes contribute to the plot of the feature film? Consider what literacy techniques were used in Disney’s storytelling.

It’s Your Planet – CraftTextile Artist

Visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and direct your attention to the decorations of Africa and Asia. You will find many rugs and clothes hanging from balconies. Compare these findings to the textile arts at Mexico and Morocco in World Showcase at Epcot. Note the differences between texture, style, versatility and pattern. How are they similar and different?

Disney uses unique decorations to establish character in different locations throughout the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels. Authentic artwork contributes to an accurate portrayal of the culture represented. All of the textile art that you find at the Walt Disney World Resort is original or created in an authentic manner. Take some photos of examples to share with your troop!

It’s Your Planet – Do It YourselfRoom Makeover

Explore World Showcase at Epcot to experience different designs from around the world. Discuss your favorites and analyze what elements appeal to you - the artwork, the furniture, the colors, or is it something else?

It is hard to understand your reaction to styles if you are not exposed to them in person. From Cast Member costumes and landscaping to architecture and art, different elements create the ambience and immerse you into a specific environment. Be sure to photograph or sketch some ideas to take home from your Disney trip.

It’s Your Planet – InvestigationTruth Seeker

Many vacationers blog about their trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. Before coming, create a subject for your own blog; some ideas could include finding “Hidden Mickeys” or seeing the ghost horse hooves at the Haunted Mansion® in the Magic Kingdom Park.

It’s Your Planet - OutdoorsAdventurer

Explore Rafiki’s Planet Watch® at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. This attraction offers many educational and enlightening insights on the environment and conservation. You can also get a peek backstage and learn how the animals at the park are cared for!

Work as a team as you embark on the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom at Magic Kingdom Park.

Be inspired by the conservation efforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Brainstorm ideas on how you can promote the conservation cause at home. How will you make a difference using some of the principles you have seen here?

As you travel through the Theme Parks, take photos to capture a digital photo series of your journey. Sort these photos into topic groups and sequence them to help narrate your trip. You can also visit DisneyPhotoPass.com to share your adventure using your Disney photos. Make sure to keep your Disney PhotoPass® Card to upload more memories.

It’s Your Planet - Practical Life SkillsCar Care

Walt Disney World Resort offers many exciting car-themed attractions. Check out Test Track - Presented by Chevrolet at Epcot and design your own custom concept vehicle, then buckle up and push your design to it’s limits. Learn more about cars at Lights, Motors, Action!® at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as professional stunt drivers share some of their driving tricks and safety tips. Don’t forget to take a drive around Magic Kingdom Park at the Tomorrowland Speedway.

Explore all the options that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer, online at disneyworld.com. From recreation, attractions, resorts, dining and special events, there is something for every girl.

Visit the Tri-Circle D Ranch & Farm at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and see Disney horses. Many of the horses that live here work in the Theme Parks. You can tour through the stables to see where the horses reside and learn about The Walt Disney Company’s horse history.

You can see many animals in action at the Walt Disney World Resort. Check out the horses as they pull the trolley down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom Park and birds showing their entertaining side in the Flights of Wonder show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Can you spot any other animals at work, in nature or assisting people, throughout the Theme Parks?

It’s Your Story – Creative PlayGame Visionary

Experience a uniquely Disney scavenger hunt by searching for “Hidden Mickeys” throughout the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels. “Hidden Mickeys” are often Mickey Mouse silhouettes that are hidden in art, architecture, landscaping and more. How many can you find and photograph for your scrapbook?

Become an apprentice sorcerer and set off on a quest to stop the Disney Villains from taking over the Magic Kingdom Park as you play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.
