SPECIAL REPORT:
3 Forgotten Steps to Make Healthy Eating Stick
by: Yuri Elkaim If you’re like most of my clients, it’s not eating healthy that’s difficult, it’s
eating healthy consistently that’s the real challenge!
If you find yourself constantly “starting over” or saying “I’ll start again
tomorrow” every time you try to eat healthy, then what I’m about to share with
you is going to change that for good.
After reading this short report you’ll finally know EXACTLY how to eat a
delicious, healthy diet CONSISTENTLY...without overhauling your life in the
process.
Make sure you read this entire report because I have something special for you
that will make getting rapid results with your new healthy diet easier, faster,
and so simple you won’t even think about it. I did all of the hard stuff already.
My name is Yuri Elkaim, I’m a revered holistic nutritionist with a very unique
approach that makes vibrant health SIMPLE.
If you’ve never heard of me before, here are four reasons I think you should
trust my guidance:
1.) I’m the New York Times best-selling author of the book The All-Day
Energy Diet and The All-Day Fat Burning Diet. I’ve also been on many popular
TV shows like Dr. Oz and The Doctors.
2.) I’ve helped OVER 500,000 men and women of all ages transform their
health, even from the worst possible starting points. My mission is to transform
10 million lives by 2018, and I have no doubt you will be one of them.
3.) I used to be in your shoes. I didn’t always have a healthy body, hard abs,
and an abundance of energy...so I know how you probably feel right now --
both physically and mentally.
I also understand that it’s difficult to follow and trust someone that hasn’t dealt
with the problem you’re trying to solve...lucky for you, I’ve been through all of
this and truly understand how you’re feeling and what it takes...no matter how
severe or bad your situation seems right now.
4.) I went to University to study what I’m going to show you. I’m not just
some random guy that read a few books and online articles. I went to school
and studied hard to learn how the body works. My education led me to
discovering the power of nutrition when it comes to healing the body and
reversing health conditions. After seeing how nutrition alone can transform a
person's health it became my lifes work.
I don’t tell you all of this to brag. I just want you to know that you’re in good
hands with me and I can’t wait to hear about your results after you implement
what I show you.
Now, before we get to the 3 Forgotten Steps, I want to clear up a few myths
you may have heard about eating healthy:
Myth #1: A healthy diet has to be boring and bland. I’m a HUGE foodie, just
ask my wife! I refuse to give up delicious food, so every recipe I use is as
enjoyable to eat (or more) than the unhealthy alternatives. You won’t feel
deprived or like you’re “dieting.” Not only will you love my recipes -- they’ll
energize you, help you burn more fat, and make you look & feel amazing.
Myth #2: A healthy diet takes longer to prepare. This is a HUGE myth that is
simply not true. In fact, all of the amazing recipes I’m going to share with you
take 15 minutes or LESS to prepare. You probably can’t even make it to your
local McDonald's and back that fast. WIth 3 young boys, a wife, and a business
to run I don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen either.
Myth #3: To have a healthy body you must be fanatical about your diet and
block specific foods out of your life FOREVER. This is something a lot of
nutritionists and other “diet” experts preach. They say things like…
“You can’t have anything with gluten”...
“You must never again have sugar”...
And my favorite:
“Avoid *this* or that macronutrient (fats, carbs, or protein) FOREVER!”
in my household, we aren’t like that.
Amy (my wife) and I have developed an extremely effective system that makes
healthy eating easy while minimizing cravings…and without “condemning”
certain types of foods.
We don’t want our kids to develop that type of negative food association and
we both strongly believe that following dogmatic dieting rules is a recipe for
disaster.
When you follow a system you can rely on, like the one I’m about to share with
you, you create a predictable outcome...which will make reaching your health
goals much easier and far less stressful.
You don’t have to give anything up forever. If you love pizza, or ice cream, it’s
okay once in awhile. I bet you won’t hear many nutritionists say that. :)
When you think you’ll never have something again you have to rely on
willpower...which will only last for so long before you crack and end up back at
square one.
I just wanted to crush these common myths before we get into the 3 Forgotten
Steps because I don’t want them to stop you from doing this and changing your
life.
Okay I think we’re ready to go...let's get to it!
Step #1: Setup Your Environment to Win
(How Your Kitchen is a Reflection of
Your Body)
Setting up your environment to win is MASSIVELY crucial to get the results
you’re after. Does your kitchen commonly look like this?
This is an extreme example, but if it looks anything like this, you aren’t alone.
What you probably don’t know is that a messy kitchen is making your life much
harder, and being healthy nearly impossible.
When your kitchen is a mess, how are you supposed to think clearly? Let alone
make healthy decisions? You can’t.
Your environment will always trump your willpower. And, with the right
environment relying on your willpower becomes irrelevant and unnecessary.
It’s also important to avoid surrounding yourself with the foods you know you
shouldn’t be eating.
For example, cake. My personal favorite is German chocolate cake. Let's say
you just had a birthday party and you’ve got half a cake left...
What do you do? Throw it out?
Of course not, because you don’t want to waste the money and there’s nothing
“wrong” with it. So if you’re like most people, you would probably keep it on
the counter or somewhere easy to access.
Let me ask you a question:
If your goal is to eat healthy so you can stay slim and lean...is this setting up
your environment to win? I think you know the answer is an absolute no.
Unless chocolate cake is improving your health (which, unfortunately, it’s not)
then you need to remove these negative influences.
That’s a huge part of setting up your environment to win. The whole idea is
that you want to make unhealthy choices inaccessible.
Let's take the following three scenarios - which do you think makes eating
cake the easiest (and most likely)?
Scenario one: You’ve got the chocolate cake sitting on the counter. Ease of
access is a no-brainer. You can just go by, grab a knife, chop it, and it’s ready
to eat. When you get home after a long day and you’re stressed out and just
want that carb fix, the chocolate cake is right there, tempting you.
Scenario two: You don’t have the cake at home, but you can go to the store,
which is a couple blocks away and buy it. The thought process then goes
something like this:
“Ugh, I’ve got to get my shoes on and walk, maybe drive. Then I’ve got to park
the car, then get out of the car and go to the store. Buy it, then get back in the
car, drive back home. Then take it out, do all that, and cut it up.”
Going through that is a bit more work so the likelihood of eating the cake in
scenario two is much less.
Scenario three: You don’t have to go to the store, but you have cake mix in
your pantry. Now, if you want the cake you have to take out the cake mix, find
a large bowl, get the eggs, the milk, mix it all together, take out the pan, pour
it into the pan, preheat the oven, then throw it into the oven for 30 minutes…
Thirty minutes later it comes out of the oven. Then you have to let it cool
before you put the icing on top. Then an hour after the start of it, you’re ready
to go.
That is a huge journey and A LOT more work than eating the cake in scenario
one. Do you see how simply making unhealthy food options more difficult will
reduce the likelihood you eat them?
The goal is to move away from instant gratification. If we are required to
make and bake a chocolate cake, the odds of us doing that to satisfy a craving
are very, very low.
That’s why you really need to set up your environment in a way that supports
you.
Your kitchen should look more like this:
Your kitchen should be spic-and-span clean.
Why?
Because a cluttered environment means a cluttered mind. When you have
cluttered mind, it’s a reflection of a lot of things going on internally.
When you live in a messy environment where you feel slothy and depressed,
digging into bad foods like ice cream and chocolate cake and chips is much
more likely than if your kitchen was as clean as the one above.
I recently read a New York Times best-selling book about this exact concept
called The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo.
It’s a great book that has sold over 3 million copies
because tidying up your life is so simple yet so
powerful.
Right now you might be thinking “Yuri, what on
earth does this have to do with eating well?”
The truth is that it has everything to do with eating
well! As I mentioned before, your environment is
everything. Your environment will always trump
willpower.
You can have the most determination possible and commit to not eating
crap...but when you get home at the end of a long day your willpower is at its
lowest.
Why?
Because willpower is like the battery on your iPhone - it dwindles down the
more you use it. The more decisions you make throughout the day and the
more temptations you’re resisting build up and drain your body’s ability to resist
temptation.
So you get home at the end of the day and if you’re living in a messy
environment, that only adds more fuel to the fire.
You just get that feeling that tells you, “I’m just going to order pizza or
something,” to cool the anxieties since you’re willpower is already so drained.
And as a result...you go for the carbs, the chocolate, or the chips.
I’m not going to go into detail about Marie’s book, but I will tell you the
underlying message is that you’ll be healthier, smarter, and less stressed in a
cleaned up, minimalist environment.
Marie also emphasizes the fact that “cleaning up” is for the most part a
one-time event. You’re not going to be doing this over and over every single
day. You only have to clean, declutter, discard, and organize once...then you
get to reap the benefits forever.
There are two steps to make this happen in your home:
Step 1.) Discard and get rid of anything that does not bring you joy. You can
do this with your clothing, books, kids toys, and anything else in your home.
We did this recently in my home and it made an incredible positive impact.
Be ruthless when getting rid of the food you know you should throw out. If
you’re looking at the chips or the ice cream and saying to yourself, “I don’t
want to get rid of that. I paid money for it,” guess what? You’re going to be
stuck where you are for a long time to come.
I want to challenge and encourage you to go into your pantry and remove the
junk. All changes happens in an instance, and you just have to decide that
enough is enough.
Step 2.) Create organizational systems. You need systems so that when you
go to the grocery store and you come back with a couple bags of groceries, you
know where everything goes so that your kitchen doesn’t look like it’s been
exploded upon by this huge onslaught of groceries.
Here are a few images for inspiration - notice how everything has a place.
Everything is clean and organized, so you can think clearly and easily make
smarter decisions.
If you go to the store and buy almonds, beans, spinach, and apples...each of
those things should have a designated place. You should already know where
to put them so you don’t have to figure it out every time you get home with
groceries.
Same deal for silverware, cutlery, plates, and cups. Pick where those things go
and stick to it. Keep those areas clean, organized, and free of crumbs or other
mess.
This isn’t just a step for your pantry though; the same goes for your fridge.
Clean out the fridge. Pick a designated spot for each thing.
Put the vegetables in one drawer, meat in another, and so on. There’s no “rule”
where you should put things so create an organizational system that works for
you.
Remember:
This isn’t about being OCD or a neat freak. We just want our kitchen to be
clean and organized in a way that’s conducive to healthy eating so it becomes
effortless.
When you live in a space that is clear of clutter, you feel better, and when you
feel better, you make better decisions.
This isn’t a constant thing, take 2 hours on a weekend and get it done. You will
feel so much better and refreshed.
Think about a time when you got rid of a bunch of old stuff you didn’t need.
Didn’t you instantly feel better and less burdened?
This is the meta-level part of sticking to a diet that promotes vibrant health,
once you get this on lockdown EVERYTHING else becomes a lot easier.
Now I’m going to give you a few of my best tips to make healthy eating even
easier.
Tip #1: Make desired behaviors easily accessible. This is the opposite of
getting rid of the unhealthy stuff. For example, if you want to juice more, leave
the blender out and ready to go instead of tucked away. Small adjustments like
this that cut down the amount of steps will dramatically increase the chances
you’ll stick to the healthy habits you want to form.
Cut up veggies with hummus or guacamole. Keep it ready to go in the fridge,
so when you get home after a long day and your willpower is down, you don’t
feel like thinking about what to make for dinner, and you don’t want to give in
to the bag of chips, turn to the cut-up veggies with hummus.
If you feel like you need a bit of salt, drizzle a little sea salt on there, and
that’ll kind of quench that craving.
Make it EASILY accessible. If you have to come home, cut up vegetables, and
make the hummus from scratch, you’re not going to do it after a long day. But
if the works already done, it’s a no-brainer.
Tip #2: Make bad influences VERY inaccessible. We talked about this in the
cake example, but it’s extremely important to make the bad influences as
difficult to access as possible.
If your weakness is eating toast, don’t buy bread and put away the toaster so
it’s a pain to get out and setup.
This tip is so simple but one of the most effective to prevent “caving” and
eating foods you beat yourself up for eating later.
Tip #3: Have readily available satiating foods like healthy fats and protein
powders. If you suffer from cravings, this is one POWERFUL. This tip will save
you over and over when you get those blood sugar drops throughout the day
and want that quick sugar fix.
If you have some healthy fats ready to go, like coconut oil or olive oil, you can
simple eat a tablespoon and you’ll feel satiated...avoiding the need for the
deadly “carb fix”.
This will also give your body lasting fuel to energize you and help you power
through the rest of the day.
I also recommend having protein powder on hand. Protein has the highest
thermic effect of food out of all of the macronutrients and keeps you full longer
than fats or carbs.
Protein powders are my “secret sauce” to combat late night and afternoon
cravings. Plus, it only takes about 10 seconds to make a delicious protein
shake.
Not to mention that protein increases your metabolic rate to help you churn
through more calories. Plan for the “moments of weakness” by always having a
simple protein powder on hand as your secret weapon.
Step #2: Start Small
(Why Eating Clean “Part Time” Is The Key
to LONG-TERM Success)
Which do you think is easier: preparing three meals or just one?
I’m sure you agree that planning and preparing for one meal is much
easier...which is exactly why starting small is so important.
One big reason people fail to stick to a clean diet is because they get
overwhelmed by the idea of preparing three meals every single day.
If you’re just starting to make this change, commit to making ONE healthy meal
per day. Then, go about the rest of your day (in terms of what you eat) as you
are right now. That will take a lot of the stress and pressure off and get you
started.
Starting small is is how I’ve helped thousands of people transform their health
permanently.
I want you to start by focusing on changing what you eat for dinner. Nothing
more, nothing less.
The reason?
It goes back to willpower - at the end of the day your willpower is at its lowest
(remember the battery analogy)...so this is the time when most people make
poor food choices, because they don’t want to think or put in effort.
If you aren’t sure what to cook for dinner or worried about finding the time,
don’t worry. I’m going to show you how to make that very EASY and FASTER
than running out and grabbing fast food or ordering pizza.
Now you only have to worry about 7 meals per week, instead of 21 or more.
Much more manageable, right? :)
We’re ready to move onto step 3, where I’m going to show you how to make
cooking healthy & delicious meals at home extremely easy and simple (in
literally 15 minutes or less)...
Step #3: Plan Ahead for Success
Step 1: Find your favorite cookbooks in your home or go to your local
bookstore and find seven meals you want to try. Don’t overcomplicate this, just
choose seven, and if you don’t like it...then you don’t have to make it again.
Step 2: Now that you know what you’re going to cook, create a list of the
exact groceries you need to make it happen.
This is important so you’re not aimlessly walking around the store grabbing
random stuff you don’t need. That’s a huge mistake people make when they go
grocery shopping.
You should be like a laser guided missle and know exactly what items you
need.
If you’re worried about your kids not eating what you make, here’s what I do:
Don’t cook anything else!
Don’t become a short-order chef because if they can choose to eat something
less healthy - like pancakes, grilled cheese, or pizza - they’re going to choose
that every time.
They won’t starve overnight and they’ll learn to try new (healthy) foods that
they might really love eating.
This isn’t about forcing stuff onto your kids. I’m not saying make them sit at the
table until they eat all of their broccoli. I think that approach has the opposite
effect from what we want as parents.
This is about getting them to try new stuff that they normally wouldn’t and
making it enjoyable for them.
Now, let me ask you a question...
Have you ever told yourself that eating healthy…
=> Is too expensive?
=> Takes too long?
=> Or, tastes like cardboard?
Do you feel like you’ve tried everything imaginable to lose weight, but nothing
really works?
That’s exactly why we created the Fat Burning Meal Club.
Let’s be honest:

which foods truly promote health and which ones are bad for you is a massive
challenge in itself.

discount now before it goes away forever:
>> CLICK HERE FOR INSTANT ACCESS <<
If you think the price is ‘too high’, consider this for a moment:
That’s about the same price as one dinner for two at a moderately nice
restaurant. That’s almost one month’s cell phone bill; according to J.D. Power
and Associates, the average American cell phone bill is $71 per month. It’s six
times less than a monthly car payment; according to Edmunds.com, the
average payment on a new vehicle is $479 per month.
Are any of these choices improving your health and helping you be healthy
consistently? The answer is no. I’m not saying you have to give those things up,
but when people tell me they don’t have the money to eat well or they don’t
have the money to invest in themselves, I kind of call BS a little bit.
This is all about making priorities. If you have an iPhone, a laptop computer, a
tablet, or a TV...you CAN afford this…
If you really want to lose weight, feel more energetic, and finally be in control
of your diet and your future, this should be a no-brainer.
But if you want to continue down the road of temptations, cravings, and not
feeling like your true self because you’re just in this downward spiral of eating
crappy foods, then there’s not much else I can say. But if you do want to get
started with us:
