The Furnas Brand 69J pressure switch is used to regulate thetank pressure between two preset values on small (up to 175psi) electrically driven air compressors. It is available with anewly designed unloader valve which prevents compressorsfrom starting under load. This new design allows the unloadervalve to be rotated into eight different positions and be mount-ed on either side of the pressure switch. An auto-off discon-nect lever is also available for manual cut off of the compres-sor. It can be factory installed to either side of the pressureswitch. Two enclosures are available: the standard side cableentry and the new bottom cable entry with built-in clampingstrain relief. A four port manifold style is also available whichprovides a means for easy mounting of relief valves andgauges.

The rugged Furnas Brand 69H pressure switch is designed forthe demanding requirements of larger, heavy duty commercialair compressors (up to 250 psi).

The sturdy painted steel case and cover resists the harsh con-ditions encountered in industrial applications. This style is alsoavailable with an unloader valve to prevent the compressorfrom starting under load.

Developed and sold for use by waterwell professionals, theFurnas Brand PRO CONTROL pressure switch answers theprofessional installer’s need for rugged, reliable control with nocutting corners on quality. Built for direct use on all types ofpumps up to 5 Hp and for use in the control circuit of a mag-netic starter (see Class 14) for larger pumps. The features ofPRO CONTROL make it standard equipment on some of theworld’s finest pumps.

The Furnas Brand 69W pressure switch provides time tested,reliable control for automatic water systems. The switch isuniversally acceptable for use as original equipment on waterwell pumps or pumping systems. Its simple design makes iteasy to use for professionals and non-professionals alike.

GARD-ALL switches combine the functions of a standardpressure switch with protection against low pressure. Theyprevent the pump from starting whenever the system pres-sure falls considerably below cut-in pressure. Upon restorationof the water supply, a manual reset lever is depressed until abuild up of system pressure permits automatic operation.

REVERSE ACTION pressure switches for air or water cut-in onrising pressure. They are designed to ground the ignition ongas engine driven pumps and compressors when themaximum pressure has been reached, or to act as lowpressure alarms, or to prevent pump operation at lowpressure. This switch can be supplied with a reset lever.

HI-GARD switches are wired in series with any system pres-sure switch. This special pressure switch is designed to cut-out (open the contacts) when a preset pressure is reachedand must be manually reset. HI-GARD pressure switch isused when it is desirable to limit the maximum pressure in asystem.

GARD-IT switches are wired in series with a conventionalFurnas Brand pressure switch. When failure of the water or airsupply causes system pressure to fall considerably below thecut-in point of the regular pressure switch, GARD-IT will turn offthe pump motor. When the water supply returns, the system isplaced in automatic operation by depressing the manual resetlever until system pressure exceeds the GARD-IT cut off level.
