CANE MILLING TECHNOLOGY FROM A. GONINAN OF AUSTRALIA
For manufacturing Sugar Mills, Uttam has tied-up with A. Goninan of Australia - one of the world leaders in cane milling technology.
Apart from Uttam, only Hitachi of Japan has access to Goninan Technology.
A. Goninan has designed, manufactured and installed the world's first 55” x 110” Mill, in Australia.
Uttam is the only Company in India having access to Goninan design to manufacture Mills upto 55” x 110” size.
Mill design is very sturdy with lowest power consumption at differential crushing rates.
ADVANTAGES OF UTTAM MILLS
oFixed 73 Apex angle at higher and lower Mill setting, resulting in better juice extraction with lesshydraulic load at varying pre-determined crush rate.
Apex angle of Uttam Mills does not change even at much wider settings for higher crush rate.

Option to install efficient shaft mounted planetary gear unit directly attached with motor on each roller at required differential speed to obtain maximum transmission efficiency.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF UTTAM – GONINAN MILLS
Uttam Mills have inbuilt provisions for installation of TRPF/GRPF on Mill Head Stocks.
Wider base of Headstock provides rigidity to mills which gives better load transfer to the Mill Foundation.
Wedge type specially designed High Carbon Steel Pins provide easy dismantling.
Angular type bottom roller adjustment through hydraulic jacks with the help of packing system is provided to facilitate easy resetting of the mill.
Lesser width of Trash Plate reduces friction resulting in lesser power consumption.
Trash Plate adjusting arrangement is provided outside to facilitate safe & easy operation.
Deep Juice Tray with sufficient slope to the Juice Gutter prevents jamming.
The Mill Head Stocks are secured by 4 nos. primary & 2 nos. secondary foundation bolts along with Cross Beams tied across with studs, resulting in a rigid mill assembly which prevents vibrations.
SS Strips are provided at the Bearing Surface and bottom of headstock to prevent corrosion by juice, leading to longer life of mill Headstock.
SS Wear Plates are provided with CSK bolts at both sides of headstocks Jaw, to improve the sliding action of Top Bearing and prevent wearing of the headstock.
Solid Gunmetal top Bearing Housing/Gun Metal lining in Cast Steel Housing is provided with effective oil lubrication which reduces the temperature rise for longer life of Bearings.
Floating Type Top Roller Scraper assembly is provided.
Messchart Scraper Assembly automatically adjusts while resetting the bottom rollers.
Lotus Type 'Toothed Under Feed Roller' gives better compactness of cane blanket, improves drainage & prevents the slippage of cane. It ensures better efficiency and extraction from the Mills.
Arcing is provided at the rollers by special arcing electrodes to prevent the slippage of cane blanket.
