Presentation of GSE team from RI.Dist.-7020, Jamaica.

Editorial

"Tact is the art of making guests feel at home when

that's really where you wish they were."

PATOIS is the Jamaican dialect and in Patois, Wahgwaanis implied as welcome, so all the Rotarians and Rotaryclubs of Berhampur extends a warm "Wahgwaan" to thevisiting GSE team leader and member's from Jamaica, under Rotary International District 7020, comprises 10countries in the Caribbean and 83 clubs.

Our DG Dr. Ashok Singh has a special fascination for Ja-maica as he had been to Jamaica as a Rotary Volunteerin 1997. He ardently volunteered along with Ann Dr.Neelum by providing medical attention to the needy pa-tients of Jamaica and he still reminisces his good timethere. This is the reason why the GSE team from Ja-maica is here. He initiated the communicated with DGVance Lewis of 7020 and made the visit possible.

In India there is a Sanskrit saying "Atithi Devo Bhava"which could be interpreted as Guests are like gods or inHindi it is BAGHVAAN, so they should be taken care withmuch adoration and attention. Rtn. PP P K Rajeev GSEcomm. chair K Prasant along with all the club presidentsand Hony. Secretaries have made elaborate arrangementsto provide all care and comfort and make the visit ahistoric one.
