Correction of Classification Errors

Per California Code of Regulations 11518.20 Correction of Classification Errors:

● A parent, guardian or teacher may request a Correction of Classification Errors after the administration of the Initial ELPAC, but before the administration of the Summative ELPAC at the EL Office.

● If you feel that your child’s initial language classification does not accurately reflect your child’s language proficiency, please request a Correction of Classification Errors Review at the EL Office.

An email is generated and sent immediately to the user’s email address with a six-digit verification code that expires in 15 minutes.

Once the code is entered, the user will be directed to TOMS. If a user uses a different browser, private browser, or different device, or if cookies are cleared from a user’s device, the user will be asked to complete the two-step authentication once again.
