Quick Tips• Don’t promise your student credit for international university work unless
you’ve consulted with a UC campus.
• Likewise, don’t promise your student that their international university work is not transferable unless you’ve consulted with a UC campus.
• Always counsel your students to list their ENTIRE university history on the UC application, whether the courses will ‘count’ or not.
Quick Tips• External agency evaluations are not considered/accepted by UC and can
be costly to the student.
• Encourage students to start collecting official, sealed transcripts as early as possible, especially if no additional work will be completed at that university.
• UC very rarely makes exceptions for submitting official transcripts. If your student is reporting issues obtaining official transcripts from their school, encourage them first to seek out the Ministry of Education in that country for their records.
