SPEAK TO BE SEEN BLUEPRINT

It’s one thing to show up (an important thing!), but to have RESULTS, you must always follow these rules at events:

STEP 1

STEP 2

Show up CONSISTENTLY

Participate

This means being there in the face of anything. Life happens, we get it, and so will your people online and at your events. But people want to work with someone that delivers no matter what’s in their way. So be a business owner that always shows up, no matter what.

This also means when you show up, you…

It’s one thing to show up - it’s another to take an active role and be a leader. People want to work with business owners that lead with confidence and take ownership. Participating as much as possible also positions you in the room as either an expert or someone that is doing everything they can to be an expert - and that’s what will get you hired.

You’ll see a running theme with every speaking opportunity - if you don’t have a plan, you will not have results. This means…

KNOW YOUR NUMBERSKnow how many people are in the room so you can keep track of your success rates and how many leads you can capture

CREATE GOALSIf you don’t have a goal, chances are you’ll talk to people you feel comfortable with, and then you’ll get distracted or have some coffee and hang out with that person through an entire event. DON’T BE COMFORTABLE! Being comfortable will not get you new clients. If you create goals and you follow through with accomplishing them (no matter what, see point 1 above), you will have results. If you create goals and don’t follow through, you will not have results.

Goals can look like:• How many people you will talk to at an event• How many new business cards you will get• How many leads you will get when you speak

STEP 3 Have a PLAN

This is where 99% of entrepreneurs fall down. They do ZERO follow-up work, and then ask themselves why they have no new clients even though they have been networking and speaking everywhere.

HAVE A PLAN TO FOLLOW UP:• Block out time in your calendar the next day (or however many days

you need, depending on the event) after every networking event, on-line event, and speaking gig that is dedicated to following up.

• Email everyone you meet and ask them to connect further!• See how you can support everyone you meet. Be a connector. Be

someone that always brings value. If you’re known for those things, word will spread and business will come.

• This is a big one… PICK UP THE PHONE AND TALK TO PEOPLE!• Again, this is where 99% of entrepreneurs fall down. They never pick up

the phone! If being with people live, in-person is the best way to interactwith them, then talking to them on the phone is the next best thing.Phone calling is where you will close business - you will close little tono business through email (just think about how you normally get newclients and how many of them you only spoke to through email alone).

STEP4

Follow UP!

SPEAK TO BE SEEN OFFLINE

Want more high quality, hot leads? Do you want better, more engaged clients that see the real value in what you do? Then you NEED to be speaking to be seen at live, in-person events. There is no better or faster way to create your own community than by constantly interacting with people in live settings. The following is a list of live events you can be seen at and you can speak at, as well as strategies to find these live events and maximize your opportunities there.

Networking EventsIf you’re just starting out or you’re building towards a 6-Figure business, there’s no more consistent way to be seen than to network as much as possible. When Red Elephant started, we went to a minimum of 4 networking events per week to make sure we were being seen consistently - and it paid off (literally!).Many networking and community groups will let you do a short speech (such as Business Network International, BNI). Make sure you ASK if you get to do a quick blurb about your business (or something longer) and what the rules are for speaking. Hint! It’s always important to know and stick to the rules of the host when you speak - you want to be invited back!

WHERE TO FIND NETWORKING EVENTS• Ask your network! Entrepreneurs love to network - it’s how business

owners meet a lot of people quickly. There are entrepreneurs in your network, even if you’re just starting out. Check your Facebook friends, call contacts, even ask your friends and families that aren’t entrepreneurs if they know any entrepreneurs!

• Check websites like eventbrite.com and meetup.com to find local networking events

• When you go to networking events, ASK if anyone there knows of any other networking events during your individual conversations. If you get a chance to give your “elevator pitch” during the event, ask everyone as a group. You should also ask people during your individual conversations.

• Log on to www.bni.com to find your local BNI chapter. They meet weekly and understand the true value of networking.

• You can also visit and speak to groups such as churches, yoga studios, and other places where your target market gathers.

WorkshopsDETAILS:Typical Length: 1.5 to 3 hoursTypical Attendance: 5 to 20 peopleTicket Price: $10 to $47

HOSTING:If you’re just starting out (or even if you’ve been in business a while), a workshop is a great low-risk, low-cost entry into hosting your own live events. If you network 4 times per week, you CAN put 10 people into a room, teach them something for 90 minutes or 3 hours, and invite them to spend more time with you as private clients!

ATTENDING:If you’re attending a workshop to network and learn some new things, make sure you have a solid plan to meet everyone at the workshop. Show up early and stay late so you have a chance to meet everyone else that’s there - they are all potential leads for you!

Page 11: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

1-Day EventsDETAILS:Typical Length: 9:00am to 5:00pmTypical Attendance: 35 - 65 peopleTicket Price: $20 to $70

ATTENDING:1-Day events are a higher ticket price and a longer version of workshops. There is usually plenty of time to network during breaks and during lunch. Take advantage of these networking breaks by having a plan of how many people you’re going to talk to and what you’re going to say to them. Again, it’s all about having a plan.

SPEAKINGSome 1-Day events are looking to bring on paid speakers, so don’t be afraid to ask! Otherwise...See “Sponsorships” Below

HOSTING• Hosting a 1-Day event isn’t for the beginner. If you’re just starting out,

meaning you have a very small email list, a small roster of clients or no clients, and you’re not totally clear on what you’re selling, do NOT host a 1-Day (or 3-Day) event. Start by networking more frequently and hosting workshops.

• If you’re further along in your business, meaning you have an email list of at least 500 engaged followers (or a very strong social media following), a relatively full roster of clients, and you know exactly how you help people and what services/products you offer, then it might be time to host your own 1-Day event!

Page 12: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

11

• 1-Day events can net up to six-figures in revenue so they can be very profitable. However, there are many things to consider when hosting your own 1-Day event and we recommend hiring a professional event producer to make sure you leave no stone unturned (AKA to make sure you maximize profits and minimize losses!).

• Email our team at [email protected] if you think you’re ready to host a 1-Day event, or if you’ve hosted them before and you’re looking to improve your events, and our team will be happy to help you figure out what you need to host a profitable and successful event.

3-Day Events / ConferencesDETAILS:Typical Length: Full days for three daysTypical Attendance: 75 - 200 peopleTicket Price: $97 to $297

ATTENDING:3-Day events are a higher ticket price and a longer version of 1-Day events. There is always ample time to network during breaks, lunches, dinners, and evening activities. Just like a 1-Day event, you need a plan. It’s especially important to have a follow-up plan and to follow-up QUICKLY after the event as many people are also following up with your potential leads - get there first! The main difference between any other type of event you attend and a 3-Day event is that 3-Days are unique opportunities to create very strong relationships with potential clients very quickly. You have three days with the same people, which means you can even close deals during the event itself (we don’t recommend trying to close business at any shorter event unless you’re the host!). Also, you know that the people that attend these events are truly dedicated to growing their businesses or improving their lives or they wouldn’t have invested in attending for three full days! Hint! - Don’t get distracted by the hotel or the surrounding area - attend all the sessions so you can be a consistent presence! People will notice when you’re not there. Network effectively during breaks and go to meals with different people each time so you can get in front of as many leads as possible. Setup meetings with people you think are very strong leads that could turn into clients. Last but not least, be respectful of the host and other guests - people want to work with business owners that they know will respect them. When you don’t show up as a great attendee, people will NOT want to work with you!

Page 14: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

SPEAKING3-Day event hosts are sometimes looking for paid speakers and usually have a budget. If you’re newer to public speaking and don’t have a large amount of proven experience speaking to inspire from the stage, this isn’t for you (yet). But you can get access to these stages…See “Sponsorships” below!

HOSTING• Similar to a 1-Day event, hosting a 3-Day event isn’t for the beginner.

You should already have a consistent revenue source and a high-ticket item that you can offer to attendees at your 3-Day event (between $5,000 to $25,000 per unit). Don’t take on a 3-Day event unless you can support a large investment - 3-Day events are high investment, high return.

• 3-Day events can and often do net six-figures in revenue - they are very profitable when done right. However, there are many things to consider when hosting your own 3-Day event and we recommend hiring a professional event producer to make sure you leave no stone unturned (AKA to make sure you maximize profits and minimize losses!).

• Email our team at [email protected] if you think you’re ready to host a 3-Day event, or if you’ve hosted them before and you’re looking to improve your events, and our team will be happy to help you figure out what you need to host a profitable and successful event.

SponsorshipsMany events are looking for speakers - and a lot of those opportunities are “pay to play.” Don’t discount these opportunities - we built Red Elephant by paying to be on the stages of other entrepreneurs. We also may be able to put you in touch with event hosts (including ourselves) that are seeking sponsors. Contact our team by emailing [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you!

WHERE TO FIND THEM?• Ask around! People in your network may have heard of workshops,

1-Day events, and 3-Day events, and usually the hosts of these events are looking for sponsors.

• Attend events and meet the hosts and sponsors! When you attend a lot of events, make sure you introduce yourself to the host and the sponsors. These are the people that are investing in their own events and are often looking for sponsors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:• Don’t spend outside your budget, but don’t be afraid to say yes even if

you don’t have the money in your bank account. Sponsorships will pay off big if you can figure out how to pay for them.

• Have a PLAN! Make sure you connect with a mentor, friend, or coach to review your talk and what you’ll be offering to the attendees.

• Know your numbers! Make sure you know how many people will be at the event and how many people are actually in the room when you do your talk so you can track the numbers.

• Sponsorships are about collecting leads! Can you close business during a sponsorship? Yes, you can. You definitely can. However, the better majority of your sales from a sponsorship will come after the event during your follow-up. Don’t spend all your time talking to a

Page 16: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

small group of prospects. Collect information, schedule follow-up meetings with leads, and move on to the next prospect.

• Follow-up! Make sure you’re following up effectively - if you don’t follow-up, you will not get the results you wanted. Don’t pay for a sponsorship if you don’t plan to do the follow-up work.

While there’s no better way to engage and enroll people than being with them in person or on the phone, connecting with people online is the next best thing. AND being seen online is a great way to stay in front of your audience in between live interactions. Think advertising - the more someone sees you, the more comfortable they become with you, and the more likely they are to sign up for your live events and services. The following is a list of places to be seen online, and how best to use these places. For some of the opportunities below, we have set up the guide to reflect the Speak To Be Seen Offline places model (how you can attend, speak, or host events). For other online opportunities, we have given you descriptions on how to get setup and use them consistently and effectively.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BEING SEEN ONLINE!The online world is an always-changing, complex place with a lot of moving pieces. Trends are constantly evolving. What works now may not work later. We’ve written this part of the guide based on what is currently working online, but things are always subject to change. Also, every market is unique and different - this is a broad guide. It’s on you to do your research and continually TEST what works in your own market and what your tribe responds to.

SPEAK TO BE SEEN ONLINE

While there’s no better way to connect with people than being with them in person, connecting with people online is next best thing. AND being seen online is a great way to stay in front of your audience in between live interactions. Think advertising - the more someone sees you, the more comfortable they come with you, and the more likely they are to sign up for your live events and services.

Facebook(Almost) everyone is on Facebook these days - literally almost everyone on the planet. In 2017, Facebook has an average of 1.15 DAILY active users. You NEED to have a presence on Facebook to stay in front of your audience and to monitor what your tribe is up to, what they like, and how they interact with your content and videos.

ATTENDING• It may sound odd to be seen as an attendee on Facebook, but

here’s what we mean. There are tons of active Facebook Groups and Facebook Pages out there for every niche - and you should be on them. The best way to utilize these groups is to provide value - don’t pepper them with advertisements about your products, services, and events (online and offline) but ask questions that move the conversation forward and answer as many questions as you can. This will position you as both an expert and a leader (AKA someone that people want to work with!).

HOSTING• Your own Facebook page is about CONSISTENCY! Post often.• Develop a posting calendar so you have a plan in place.• Posting on your own Facebook page is also about VALUE. It’s important

to post often, but also it’s important to post things that your audience will find valuable and useful. If you only post about products and services you offer or upcoming events you’re hosting, people will tune out. You want to create FANS before you make offers, and the best way to do that is to consistently provide content that your audience can use immediately (checklists, action items, useful tips, etc).

• Hint: track your posts! Try to find the days and times that get the most traction on your posts and videos. See what kind of information your audience prefers and tailor your future posts to their preferences.

Page 20: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

19

You can even directly ask your following for feedback of what they like to get using polls in your posts. It’s critical to pay attention to what your tribe wants.

• Use videos! You should have a healthy mix of posts and videos, but videos:

- Are more engaging - Have more powerful calls to action - Reach more people - Are more shareable!• Another option is to start your own Facebook Group. You can grow

your Facebook Groups by inviting your current tribe to be a part of it through email and from speaking gigs. You can also use Facebook Ads to fill them with the YOUR people as Facebook Ads lets you build a custom audience.

Facebook Groups can: - Position you as an industry expert and leader - Give you a platform to direct content and conversations - Help you build loyal fans (AKA your TRIBE!) - Give you a pool of warmed up leads that can become clients

SPEAKINGIt’s a great idea to collaborate with other entrepreneurs on Facebook. Contact entrepreneurs that have proven followings and see if you can offer something to their group like a video, a free gift, a free course, or something of value.HINT: Don’t be afraid to make BOLD asks! The bigger players are always looking to work with people that are up and coming - they were where you were before they were big. Don’t discount yourself or your expertise. You have something to offer and people will want to help you get your message out there, no matter how wealthy, popular, or important they are!

Facebook Live ATTENDING• You are not the only one in your market. Find the big players that

do what you do, or something complementary to what you do, and engage with their Facebook Lives. Just like being a part of someone else’s Facebook Group, you can be an active participant and a leader during someone’s Facebook Live broadcasts. Comment often, push the agenda forward with great questions, and be a positive influence on the direction of the call. If you’re being seen frequently, people will notice!

HOSTING• Facebook Live is a fantastic and effective way to connect with your

tribe. There’s something about being live that brings out a vulnerability and a confidence that people want to see from their experts and leaders. Use Facebook Live to stay in front of your audience, keep them engaged, and connect with them!

• You can go Facebook Live at any time, but we recommend posting on your business page or sending emails that will let people know what time you’re going live, what you’re going to talk about it, and why they need to be there or can’t miss it. Building some momentum for your Facebook Lives can increase viewership.

• Some ideas of different types of Facebook Live events: - Helpful tips and hints your audience can use in their own business

or lives Hint: If you have been writing a blog, you can simply recap or read your blog posts!

- Announce an event, product, or service you’re releasing Hint: offer bonuses to the first set of people that sign up if they mention your Facebook Live announcement!

- Comment on breaking news or an industry trend

Page 22: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

- Teach a live class - Tour your house or office, or do a “behind the scenes” shoot at a

live event - Introduce your team to your fans - Host a Q&A session - Host a how-to video - Discuss your process or your signature system - Challenge your tribe to do something! - Interview someone. Set the interview up ahead of time and

announce the details, or do a “flash interview” when you see an opportunity present itself

SPEAKING• Since you do need to be with the host of the broadcast in person for

Facebook Live, Facebook Live guest sessions are great for interviews. Many entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and speakers are now doing their interviews with others using Facebook Live as the broadcasting tool. Use Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other search engine tools to find people in your market that are doing interviews so you can reach out to them and see if they’re looking for guests to join them on their specials.

Page 23: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

InstagramInstagram is a popular place for younger audiences as 59% of all 18-29 year-olds use Instagram while only 33% of all 30-39 year-olds and 18% of all 50- 64 year-olds are on Instagram. Use Instagram often and wisely to build a loyal audience!

ATTENDING (AKA ENGAGING!)• Post on your followers’ pages, comment on their photos and videos,

and respond to all comments on your Instagram page. Instagram isn’t just about posting and sitting back - you need to be interactive and engage with you tribe.

• You can also mention your followers by using the @ symbol. This is a great way to have a post to get more traction, especially if that follower that you mention has a large number of followers!

• Hint: mentioning industry leaders is a great way to get known. Identify the big players in your industry and converse with them. This will help you get known in your target market.

HOSTING (AKA POSTING!)• If you’re someone that is looking to work with a slightly younger

market, make sure you have a strategy on Instagram, always be your brand so you are easily recognizable, and post consistently. Instagram is all about visuals, so it’s important to create posts that have great pictures (and videos!).

Some ideas of what and how to post in Instagram: - Create a posting calendar so you have a plan and you can post

consistently! - Use popular, brand-specific, and trending hashtags to get more

targeted attention!

Page 24: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

23

- Hashtags are meant for people to see lots of posts about one topic. If you’re a fitness expert posting a photo of a great workout session, use tags like #fitness #workout

- Use filters on your photos to make them look nicer. You can also use different apps to post several photos on one post. These are great for before and after photos!

- Showcase your products, services, and events authentically and creatively. You can also make 15 second videos on Instagram, which are great for live events and product walkthroughs.

- Drive your audience to your online and offline events, to your website, to blog posts, and to other resources in the comments section.

- Keep it simple! Often times, a simple photo with a strong written message on the photo itself can be shareable content. Don’t spend all morning editing a photo so it’s just perfect - there are a lot of other revenue-producing activities you could be using that time for!

- Get creative with your posts by doing things like running contests, posting photos asking your audience to create their own caption, and asking questions in your posts to generate comments.

PodcastingHow do you consistently produce content that demonstrates you’re a leader in your industry? Start a podcast! There are numerous sites to host and promote your podcasts, such as SoundCloud and PodBean. Drive traffic to your podcasts through your newsletters, blogs, and social media. Let people know where you are sharing your secrets!

HOSTING• When you’re hosting a podcast, you need to have a few elements. A

podcast must: - Be interesting and engaging - Be helpful - Be memorable• It’s important to keep the attention of your audience while also offering

them resources that they can use right away (we live in a fast-moving world, give them things they can use immediately!).

You also need to be memorable so people keep tuning in. You can do this by using STORIES. Personal stories of how you overcame certain things you experienced or how you started your business, client success stories, and stories about your experiences will help your listeners relate to you and stay engaged.

• Have a CALL TO ACTION! - Make sure you are inviting people to participate with you by liking

you on Facebook or signing up for your email list. You can offer a free gift by sending listeners to an opt-in page. When they opt-in for this free gift, they are now on your email list where you can send them more information and resources as your nurture them into a bigger fan, and eventually a client.

Page 26: SPEAK TO BE SEEN CHECKLIST - Amazon S3 · Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an accomplished speaker, we wanted to provide you with a list of places, both online and offline,

• If you’re interviewing someone, ask them to email their list and post on their social media channels to drive listeners to your podcast (these are new listeners hearing you for the first time so don’t miss the opportunity by not asking your guests to bring their tribe along for the podcast!)

• Ideas for podcast topics: - Tips to overcome / succeed in / develop / etc. - Interview experts in your industry and related industries about

their experiences, stories, and tips to succeed Hint: an “expert” can be anyone that has experience in a field!

Interview anyone and everyone - Stories that illustrate important points that you talk about - Use Google! There are tons of articles containing podcast ideas.

You don’t have to look far, just Google “podcast ideas” and you’ll strike gold!

SPEAKING • You don’t have to do all the work yourself! As you get more popular

and as your influence grows, you will be invited onto podcasts. But if you’re just starting out, you need to seek out these opportunities!

- Post on Facebook that you’re looking for podcasts to be featured on

- Ask your colleagues and clients if they or anyone in their network runs a podcast

- The key here is to… ASK! Podcasters are always looking for guests to interview and to joint-broadcasts with. Make it easy for them by seeking them out and offering your time.

Newsletter / BloggingIf you want to be a speaker, have a community, and create a thriving business that can also make an impact in the world, you NEED to build an engaged email list. Every time you have an online or offline speaking opportunity, make sure you are collecting emails (and phone numbers, when you can!) and add them to your email list. Make sure you have their permission, first! Hint: Create an opt-in page using ClickFunnels or LeadPages that offers a free gift to prospective leads. When they opt-in for the free gift, you can add them to your email list!

HOSTING• Use your newsletter and blog to provide weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly

content pieces that bring value to your list and keep them engaged. Your fans want to see consistent information coming from you so they can trust you as a reliable source - don’t let them down!

• Share tips and other related resources that they can get access to for free or cheap. If you keep your list engaged, you will have a strong pool of people to pull from when you are looking to fill your online and offline events!

SPEAKING (AKA GUEST-BLOGGING!)• Guest Blogging, or the act of writing content for that will be featured

in someone else’s tribe, is a beneficial for both parties. You, as the blogger, get to be featured on a site that will drive traffic to your site, and the site host gets premium content that they can release to their audience. Win-win!

- Many bigger sites are the kind of sites looking for guest-bloggers. For example, the Huffington Post is always looking for writers to contribute content!

- Make sure you have a call to action in your blog posts or a link back to your website. Check with the site host to see if you can offer a free gift so people can opt-in to your email list directly from the blog!

ATTENDING• You can comment on other people’s blogs to generate traffic to your

own blog (just make sure it’s ok to leave a link to your website on the comment first!).

• You can also share blog posts through your social media or mention other blog posts on your own blogs to build relationships inside your industry.

WebinarsHOSTING• Webinars are a great tool to turn leads into fans, and fans into clients. A

webinar is typically 30 - 60 minutes long and features video and/or slides.• How to host webinars: You’ll need to use software to host your webinars. Here are some

suggestions: - Zoom - WebinarJam - WebinarNinja - GoToWebinar • You’ll also need a marketing plan to fill your webinars. - You can sign people for your webinars when you’re networking

and speaking at events, or sign them up through online invitations with emails, social media posts, and Facebook Ads.

Hint! It’s one thing to get people to register for your webinars, it’s another to have them show up! Be sure to keep them engaged in between the time they register and the time your webinar starts by sending reminder emails as well as helpful tips and freebies. You’ll have higher attendance rates if you use videos to do this.

• Here’s a sample model for how to structure your webinars: - Introduce yourself! - Tell people why they should listen to you (your credibility) - Engage the audience by asking questions that ensure they are

paying attention (you don’t want anyone to lose interest!)

- Teach your system for how you help people accomplish their goals (give away your BEST stuff! If you give them your best, they will want to work with you)

- Tell a story that helps people relate to you (you can tell a personal story of overcoming an obstacle, a client success story, or the story of how you got your business started)

- Make an invitation to work with you further, join you at an event, or download a free gift

- Hint! Use social proof like testimonials, stories about people that have worked with you and what they’ve accomplished, and statistics that demonstrate that what you do works.

TelesummitsA telesummit is an online multi-speaker event that assembles a series of experts to talk about a specific topic. The speakers are interviewed by you and the online event is launched over the course of a series of days for a large audience.

SPEAKING• Hosting your own Telesummit requires time and work on your part - it’s

worth it, but you need to make sure you’re setup to host it (more info below).

• The solution? You can drive leads to your opt-in pages by being interviewed or featured on another speaker’s Telesummit!

How to do it: - Reach out to your current network (family, friends, colleagues,

clients) and ask them if they’ve heard of any upcoming Telesummits or if they’re planning to host one themselves.

- Find the big players in your industry and reach out to them to see if they’re planning a Telesummit or if they have any other upcoming Joint Venture opportunities.

WHAT YOU NEED:• You should have the following items ready when someone says YES,

they want you on your telesummit:• A headshot, company description, and logo• Your current email list size and social media follower numbers (most

Telesummit hosts will ask for this).• A marketing plan for opt-ins! - A free gift - Some examples:

- A guide or eBook - An upcoming webinar - A free ticket to an upcoming live event - Opt-in page (use ClickFunnels, LeadPages, Infusionsoft, or a

similar service to set this up) - Auto-responder emails setup to deliver your free gift

HOSTING• Hosting a Telesummit can be time-consuming - and worth it. A

Telesummit can supply you with hundreds to thousands (even tens of thousands) of new leads for your business. You can also make money during your Telesummit by offering a product or service, as well as after the Telesummit by warming your new leads up and inviting them to work with you later.

• To do this, you need to have a solid plan. We can help with that! Head to http://redelephanttelesummit.com and download our

detailed “Telesummit Planning Guide.” It has everything you’ll need including:

- A weekly plan with every single task you’ll need to do (or delegate to your VA)

- Sample email templates to help you invite speakers, setup auto-responders for opt-ins, send reminder emails, keep participants engaged, and a marketing follow-up campaign

- Tips to getting the RIGHT speakers for your Telesummit - A sample interview for you to listen to - Much more!

Facebook AdsWe’re putting Facebook Ads in the Seak To Be Seen Blueprint because they are a very effective method of being seen. Not only can they help you build your community, fill your events, and find your perfect audience, they can help you create a customized audience and be seen CONSISTENTLY (very consistently!). Use Facebook Ads to drive a targeted set of people to your blog posts, to your Facebook page, to your opt-in pages, and to any other locations you want to send potential leads.

RE-TARGETING• One of the reasons Facebook Ads are so effective is because you can

track when people land on any of your pages or click through your ads, and then re-target those people specifically with a different set of ads. If someone clicks on your ad, visits your website, or interacts with you on Facebook, you know they are a stronger lead than someone that hasn’t engaged with you at all - so why wouldn’t you advertise to them more? It’s 2017 - market smarter!

• If you’re unfamiliar with Facebook Ads, talk to a professional. You can invest a lot of money with very limited returns if you do not run your Facebook Ads correctly.

OTHER ADSInstagram Ads Instagram ads are run in a similar way to Facebook Ads. See Instagram section above for details on the market. You can grow your Instagram following through ads, as well as drive traffic to your blog posts, event registration pages, and websites.Google Ads Google actually lets you advertise on search results pages! Again, this is something you should hire a professional for. You can spend a lot of money investing in the wrong places!

Website Advertising There are services that will place your content all over the web onto websites that your market is engaging on. Outbrain is a great ad server that will get your content to targeted sites and drive quality traffic to your sites.
