    Thismodelhasasufficientlyfinegridtomakeuseofclassicalpseudoisationmethodsalmostimpossible.Themodelhasasimplegeometry,withnotopstructureorfaults.Thereasonforthischoiceistoprovidemaximumflexibilityinchoiceofupscaledgrids.

    Atthefinegeologicalmodelscale,themodelisdescribedonaregularcartesiangrid.Themodeldimensionsare1200x2200x170(ft).Thetop70ft(35layers)representstheTarbertformation,andthebottom100ft(50layers)representsUpperNess.Thefinescalecellsizeis20ftx10ftx2ft.

    ThemodelconsistsofpartofaBrentsequence.ThemodelwasoriginallygeneratedforuseinthePUNQproject.ThetoppartofthemodelisaTarbertformation,andisarepresentationofaprogradingnearshoreenvironment.Thelowerpart(UpperNess)isfluvial.

    Fig.1(a)showstheporosityforthewholemodel,andFig.1(b)showspartoftheUpperNesssequence,withthechannelsclearlyvisible.

    Thefinescalemodelsizeis60x220x85cells(1.122x106cells).
