1.0 GENERAL
The purpose of this standard is to provide the basis technical informationrequirements for engineering and design of the Onshore Compressor Station4.
The station will be erected adjacent to the LNG Terminal in the Map Ta PhutIndustrial estate in the Rayong province, approximately 200 km south-east
of Bangkok

2.5 Heat Exchangers
Air Coolers
2.5.1 Air cooled exchangers shall be designed in accordance with EngineeringStandard SPC-0804.02-20.22 Air Cooled heat Exchanger.
2.5.2.2 The design air inlet temperature shall be 40 oC dry bulb unless specifiedotherwise on the Process Datasheet.
2.5.2.3 The minimum ambient temperature shall be 15 oC dry bulb.
2.5.2.4 Fans shall be forced draft type unless specified otherwise on the ProcessDatasheet.
2.5.2.5 The preferred tube lengths for Air Coolers shall be 9144 mm or 12195mm.
2.5.2.6 The preferred tube sizes for air coolers shall be as API661 or other.
2.5.2.7 Winterising is not required.
2.5.2.8 Accelerometer and velometer type vibration transmitters shall beprovided for motors and fans respectively.
2.5.2.9 Minimum requirement of structure column size and quantity shall beH200, 6 columns per bay.
2.6 Mechanical Equipment

2.7.1 Site Preparation
Site shall be prepared and levelled by CONTRACTOR. Site Preparationshall be in accordance with site preparation drawings prepared by thecontractor.
2.7.2 Soil Conditions
2.7.2.1 A preliminary soils report is attached in the ITB.
2.7.2.2 A soil profile is available by reference to bored hole logs in soil report.
2.7.2.3 Foundation design:
Foundations shall be in accordance with Engineering Specification SPC-0804.02-40.11 Foundation and Structural support for Machinery.
2.7.2.4 For piles:
Type & size, capacity, maximum uplift and lateral resistance shall bereferred to Preliminary Soil Report for the design and construction.
2.7.2.5 Type of foundations:

2.7.3 Paving/Water Run-Off/Sewers
